Rafe Cameron gave up on something five years ago. More precisely, on someone. He had to choose, and he didn't choose Phoebe. They could have moved out of Figure Eight and started a new life, but Rafe had no intention of taking that step. Even if it wasn't about him and Phoebe, but about Hazel as well. About Hazel Cameron, their little daughter.

For five years Rafe didn't even think about the fact that he had made the wrong decision. He had always felt that he had chosen the right path, or rather he believed it was the right path. Until he ran into Phoebe, Hazel... and JJ Maybank in Barbados. This was the decisive moment for him. He knew he had to do something.

Phoebe is faced with a difficult decision, because she know what kind of person Rafe is, but she hopes in the bottom of her heart that he can put the past behind him instead of turning into a mocking monster and terrible father, like Ward Cameron.
