"What'cha looking down for?"Said a heavily  accented gruff, but friendly voice. Stephanie had never heard an Enderman speak before. It was...different. Stephanie picked her head up slowly, eyes at the feet of the Enderman.

"Come on, look up please, I promise not to attack ." said the Enderman. Bracing for an attack any way, she looked up slowly. Than saw the hard, hypnotic, purple eyes of the Enderman staring back at her.

"Ada' girl!"said the Enderman. Its jaw moved ever so slightly when it talked, And she doubted it would make any larger movements, even if it screamed. It looked at the stone block on the ground almost longingly."Do you mind if I...No?...Oh well."It asked, but Stephanie was still to scared to say or do anything, for that matter. The Enderman plopped down onto the block, bending its knees repeatedly.

Any other day Stephanie would have thought this funny, but she was afraid that if she laughed, the Enderman would kill her.

"You have no idea how good this feels. Being on your legs all day, they get stiff from being so straight." he said "So," he stopped and extended his hand, "what's your name?"

Stephanie looked up at the Enderman, Than down at her hand, dumbfounded.

"Oh, Geeze where are my manners? I'm End." he said, his hand still outstretched towards her "umm... this is the part you tell me your name."

"I'm St-Steph." she said just barely managing to choke the words out. Her voice horse and dry from not using it for so long.

"Great!" End beamed "Nice to meat you Steph!" He grabbed her arm and shook it.

At first Steph flinched, and tried to pull away on instinct, but than realized that it was a friendly gesture. Although she kept a close eye on End, just in-case.

"Now" End said, leaning against the wall of the small cave "Your hear for the "No Tree Challenge" right?"

Steph nodded weakly in reply to End.

"Okay. Good thing you were heading in the right direction. I would have lost consciousness if I tried to teleport you from the other direction." he said while he chuckled to himself.

Steph didn't understand, but she refrained from asking questions, at least for now.

End rose from his makeshift chair."Well, What are we waiting for? Grab my hand !"

Steph stared for a second, then tried to rise . Her muscles screamed in agony as she tried to stand, they were so very stiff from sitting for so long, and barely worked at all. She tried again, and was able to stand successfully. She took a step forward towards End wobbling.  And reluctantly grabbed his hand.

"Excellent! Now, brace your self, most people barf the first time."

"What do yo-AGHHHHHH" Steph said, but was cut off as a swirl of purple dust whooshed past her. She felt as though she was tumbling through midair, while shooting up in to space. Finally, as fast as it started is ended.

The first thing she registered was the warm sand of a desert, than a thump as End hit the ground beside her, panting. When Steph looked up, a second later, she fell onto her back, looking at lay ahead of her.

What she saw was unlike anything she had ever seen before. Towering masses of tees, vines, leaves, but most of all wood. The sight of it all in the mist of the night brought tears to her eyes. It was beautiful.

She stared for a few moments at the stunning sight before her, then she heard End panting and wheezing on the sand next to her. "Why are you..." Steph began but trailed off as End put up his hand in a "Wait" gesture.

End closed his eyes as he struggled for his breath to return. He was laying in the sand, facing Steph, who was currently now sitting. Steph looked back at the trees, she could have sworn that she saw a flash of yellow in the trees.

It was a few minuets before End grunted and stat upright "Welcome, to the Jungle."he said as he arose.

Steph looked over at End, then the jungle, bursting with questions, when she felt a sharp pain in her back, she felt it again, this time knocking her onto her face. I shouldn't have gone with him... now he's going to kill me...

Then End began speaking, not in English, but in a skittery, slurping language, which sounded angry. the pain stopped, and Steph looked up to End yelling at a spider. As soon as End's speech ended the spider ran away quickly.

"You'd better hurry, Spiders are easy to ward off but not a whole horde of hungry Zombies. Spiders are so scared that they won't even attack you in the day because there friends aren't there to help them. Ha." He said as he laughed.

"Right." Steph said feeling kind of guilty that she thought End was the one attacking her, when in reality End was only trying to help her.

They began to walk in the jungle alert for any more monsters. Steph enjoyed the feel of the soft grass beneath her feet. It wasn't storming out. The storm must be to far away from the jungle paradise.

"Go get some wood, I'll find a good place for a base." End said to her

Steph nodded and walked over to a tree and began punching at it. She almost forgot the feel of the wood under her knuckles... the trees, much to her pleasure, were two by two. Once she could no longer punch above her she looked over to End next to an alcove in the wall of a hill, he was holding a block of Coal Ore.

"Mine this, and put some planks up to make the shelter in this." End said, placing the ore down "I can only pick up blocks, and then set them back down. Nothing more, nothing less." As soon as he said this he smirked and said, "I lift things up and put them down, get it?"

Steph shook her head vigorously, not understanding what he meant by it.

"Oh, well, mine this and make a shelter please," he said his face falling after each word he said.

After that was done , touches were placed along the walls . The entrance was a two block gap, Steph was on the inside of the bight cherry wood house, looking out.

"Now all it needs is a door, and then we should be..." Steph stopped seeing the delema, End was standing right in front of the two block gap .

"Oh...ummm...sorry?' that was the only thing she could say as she got rid of the top block. End chuckled, a low deep chuckle as he walked by.

"We need sleep, you especially. You m'am look like you have rubbed ink sacks all under your eyes." End said.

Steph looked away, the red heat of embarrassment taking over her features. Then she smirked, having a perfect comeback in mind, she looked up at End and replied simply "Your one to talk mister, you look like you've gone and bathed in ink sacks."

"That's racist!" he yelled, but he was still laughing.

"As much as Steph hated to say it, End was right. She could hardly keep her eyes open. It was probably only about midnight, not very late, yet she was tired. Steph yawned and plopped down onto the two spaces of dirt she had left for herself on the ground on the right side of the shelter, and she must say dirt had never been comfier. As Steph had her spaces it was only right that End get his own, he had three spaces down on the left side of the shelter. End layed down on his three blocks that were provided for him. He waited a few moments, complete silence. Steph was just barely above consciousness when End said, "You can lay your head on my legs if you want."

"Nugh..."Steph mumbled just before sleep took hold of her mind.
