Frank and Gerard were up in Gerard's room a few minutes after the two got home. Gerard had told Frank he had to see this comic he got last week. Gerard had insisted it was the goriest comic he could find. Frank followed him upstairs, under the promise of vampires and spilled intestines.Frank yawned and stretched, almost knocking his knuckles against the wall. Gerard looked over at him with a grin before holding up the comic, still in it's plastic seal.
Frank's eyes lit up, and he struggled to get out of the pit that was the beanbag chair he was sitting in.
Gerard giggled, using the hand not holding the comic to pull him out of the chair. Frank stood up, brushing down his button up and looking at the cover of Gerard's comic. The two studied the front of it, eyes shining at the already gore coated comic. It was just a drawing of a staircase, dark wood and banister. The only thing was the line of entrails and blood on the walls and steps.
Frank giggled and layed out on Gerard's bed.
"My ma would never let me read that. She'd start goin' off about it bein' ungodly or some bullshit." Frank grumbled, taking the comic from Gerard and held it up over his face." Hold it like that you're gonna drop it on your face. Keep your fuckin' greasy face off it. " Gerard snapped, yanking the comic out of his hand and dropping it on his desk. Frank sat up, quickly throwing his legs off the side of the bed.
" That was rude." Frank drawled, reaching over to give Gerard a light punch in the shoulder. Gerard flipped him off without turning around. Frank tutted and stood, giving Gerard another more heartfelt shove.
He stumbled forward, before turning around and shoving Frank back, a little harder then Frank had shoved him. They shoved each other back and forth, until Gerard ended up on his back.
" What the hell kinda shirt is that anyway? What are you? A fuckin' grape?" Gerard coughed in a weak attempt at an insult at Frank's purple button up. Frank snorted and pushed Gerard back down as he tried to get up. Gerard took a shot to Frank's knee, intending for him to fall backward.
That did not happen.
Frank yelled and fell foreword onto Gerard. He coughed, moving to push himself up off Gerard's chest. Incidentally, he pinned Gerard's wrists down.
Both of their faces glowed bright red, and Frank fell over himself trying to get up off him. They both stood up very quickly, red faced and fixing their shirts.
Frank ran a hand through his hair, clearing his throat. " Well uh, it's a getting a little late. Y'know Ma's gonna want me home for dinner."
He left Gerard on the floor, running home and thanking Mrs. Way.

Later that night, Frank laid in his bed. The ceiling above him was white and bare. Frank was confused.
He kept picturing Gerard. The way his face flushed when he pinned him was just.... Something else. His eyes looked so pretty up close. And his mouth was just- no wait that's gay.
Frank hummed in disapproval and turned onto his side. Gerard wouldn't get out of his head. What the fuck, was he like into him? Well, it's no harm to just... Think? Right?
Frank closed his eyes. He could see Gerard, staring up a him with flushed cheeks and his lips parted slightly. His eyes were wide and nervous, Frank remembered the twitch of his wrists while he had them pinned down.
Frank gripped the fabric of his pajama pants. No, he told himself, you aren't gonna jerk off to your best friend. You're not gay.
Frank turned over on his side, thinking about anything but Gerard. He squeezes his eyes shut, biting his lip. Grandma, Grandma, Grandma, Grandma....
