It was a Monday night and Scarlet is taking a quick.. power nap.

"SC-A"

"SCAR-ET AN- ER!"

She then shoots up awake and reaches under her bed for the radio.

"Dustin, dude" she says groggy from her three hour nap.

"The signal doesn't reach that far, you should know this by now" she rolls her eyes

Then Dustin and Lucas start bickering and she shuts the radio off.

She runs to her dresser drawer and grabs 25 quarters.

"Steve i'm going to the arcade!" she yells from the living room while she puts on her green converse.

"When will you be back?" he asks. "before 8:30" they say in unison.

"Do you want me to drive you?"

"No i'm okay, but thanks anyways" she answers

Then she throws on a light gray hoodie from sSteve.

"ok ill see you later Stevio"

"by-" she shuts the door.

The party would describe Scarlet as.. quiet. She has always been a very loud and creative person up until last year, when el went missing. She just believes she was out there. She was the first ever real girlfriend she has ever had. Wait- not "girlfriend" girlfriend, because thats wrong... right? But, she was the only ever girl she has gotten along with. Maybe that would change...

Her mom would try to force her to be friends with Stacy when she was younger, gross. But, somehow she just kept going back to the party. They were her true friends, not some preppy girls in short shirts and pony tails.

She arrives to the arcade and sees the party outside waiting for her.

"You are late" says mike

"Do you want me to loosen that stick up your ass? because i think everyone would want me to"

he scoffs "whatever"

they all walk inside and scarlet makes sure she says his her best friend will.

"will!"

"scar!"

"Barf just date already" says mike

Why would he say that? scarlet thinks

"Ew mike gross, i could never date my best friend" she says smiling at will making sure not to hurt his feelings.

"Yeah, me neither it would be took weird" says will.
