I would like to thank BandGeekof2018 for the wonderful title. I guess we're starting to be friends again I don't know. Hope you enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was a bit of a cloudy Saturday morning, and since it was so dark out, I guess my body still thought it was night time. So I woke up at like 11:45 or something like that. I think the only reason why I woke up that morning was because I felt the buzzing of my phone from under my hand. I found myself tangled up in the black cords to my ear buds. I must have fallen to sleep with my music playing and forgot to plug in my phone to charge it. I looked at the battery power on my phone and saw that it was one a very low 15% and saw that I had just missed a call from Hannah.
"Fantastic," I said out loud sarcastically. "just freaking great. This is gonna be a great day, I can tell already."
I try to call my best blonde friend back. After only a half a ring, she picks up.
"Hello?" I asked tiredly.
"Hey!" Hannah cheered. "So how are you today?"
"Meh," I stared. "I'm alive I guess, I should be thankful."
"Aww," Hannah said sweetly. "did someone have a hard time waking up this morning?"
"You could say that, but if it wasn't for you calling me, I would have probably never woken up this morning."
"Well I'm glad I did call you then."
"So what's up then, Hannah?"
"Oh, I just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out by the mall later."
"Okay, sure thing. What time?"
"Around 12:30 maybe, does that sound good?"
"Sounds great."
"Oh, and Rosie?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you come over to my house afterwards? I kinda have something to tell you."
"Sure, got nothing better to do."
"Kay, see you in a bit!"
"Bye..."
"Bye!"
God I love her. I thought as I hung up.
Hannah and I have known each other since the seventh grade, and now that we're both twenty-one, it feels like we've known each other for centuries.
I could be the most saddest person in the world, but all I have to do is hear her voice, and then I'm the happiest. She's extremely funny, always happy, and she's freaking gorrgous. With her pale skin, blonde hair, and her beautiful blue eyes, anyone could say that. I wish that she was a lesbian, or at least bi, that way it would be easier to tell her. But I can't tell her cause she might think it's weird and might not want to be my friend anymore. So I choose just to say nothing. I also say nothing because I'm going out with a girl named Maria.
I get out of bed, and brushed my rose red hair. I put on some black leggings and a grey sweater where the sleeves only went to my elbows. I went to my bathroom, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and put on some black eye-liner and mascara. I don't were a lot of make-up on a casual day.
The more I put on, the more I have to take off, I guess.
Also, just for the heck of it, I put some dark red lip stick. Not that it would get me anywhere or anyone.
I got some Lucky Charms and called Maria.
"Hello?" Maria asked when she picked up.
"Hello, my beautiful girl." I said with a bit of sexy deepness in my voice.
"Oh, hey Rosie."
"What's wrong? You sound upset."
"Oh, I'm fine. So how was your sleep last night?"
"Okay, just stop."
"What?"
"Your changing the subject, I hate it when you do that."
"I'm sorry."
"Seriously, what's wrong?"
"Well, I've been feeling weird vibes between us. You don't seem to love me as much as you used to."
"Well, baby, what makes you think that?"
"I've noticed that you've been with that Hannah girl more offten."
"Well, she's my best friend. Wait a minute, are you jealous of Hannah?"
"Honestly, yes, Rosie, yes I am."
"But, she's straight! How could you be jealous of a chick who has no desire of other chicks?"
"Oh I see the way she looks at you! Maybe she's in the closet, but there is no way she's straight!"
"I know my Hannah, and there is no way that she likes girls."
"Are you kidding? That girl is about as straight as a circle!"
"But -"
"You know what, I'm done!"
"Maria, are you breaking up with me?"
"Yes I am!"
"Why? What did I do?"
"This is the fourth fight that we've had all week, the twelfth fight this month! I think we need to see other people. Maybe you can see Hannah, I'm sure that she would be interested."
"Now Maria, just wait -"
"Goodbye, Rosie."
Maria hung up. I'm not so sure how definite the numbers are, but we did fight a lot. Maybe it was time to see other people. It wasn't much of a heart break seeing her leave. She was like a toy dog, she was annoying, didn't know how to shut up, and she was a son of a bitch.
