Sometimes I love the rain but today I don't. Today is my first day in Blossom Avenue High School, the good thing about it is that we don't have to wear uniforms, back in my old school we had the ugliest uniform ever.
I grab my hair brush and just had an extra brush through to make sure my hair was at least good for the first day. Once I finished that i threw my hairbrush into my back pack so I wouldn't forget to take it with me. Last night before I went to sleep I sat out my outfit i was going to wear, blue skinny ripped jeans and a tight white top with a white cardigan unbuttoned. For my shoes i just wore some plain all white converse high tops, i felt like this was a simple outfit but i feel comfy so i don't exactly mind.
As I leave my bedroom I zip up my backpack and close my bedroom door behind while leaving. Once I get downstairs to the front door I grab my jacket off the rack and slide it on putting my backpack on top. As soon as I step outside i see some other students walking to school in this horrible rain. Ill be honest i didn't exactly know where I was going so I just followed the trail of students hoping for the best.
Once I've arrived at the school gates I realised how much bigger this school looks than what I imagined, as im walking to the front office a bunch of cheerleaders walked past and of course they are all in their classic cheer outfits. Once i get my class timetable from the woman at the Front desk I instantly go to look what class im in. 207A and underneath it says Art, pretty good start to the first day in my opinion.
As soon as I enter the classroom its desks of two's which I've never seen before, in my old school it was just single desk. As im looking around for a seat there's only one left next to this guy. I decided to just sit down and hope for the best. While im taking my jacket off and hanging it on my chair he just stares at me like he's trying to figure out who i am.
Once i sat down i heard.
"Hey you must be the new kid" as he brushed his wavy fluffy hair back so he could see with his eyes properly, I think he needs a hair cut to be honest.
"Oh yeah , yeah i am, the name is Hollie and yours?" As I said to him with a slight smile on my face.
"Im Alex , how are you finding this school?" He said while facing towards me with a smile back on his face.
"I mean its alright so far, bigger than I expected, didn't like the fact I was caught in the rain" I giggle a little
"You will enjoy it hol" he said smiling at me looking back towards the teacher
Hol? Ive never been called Hol before, just always been Hollie... at least he remembers my name?
It finnaly reached to our lunch break, as I went up to the line to order my lunch I chose mac and cheese. The cafeteria lady handed it to me in a box and gave me a fork as well. As im walking around trying to find somewhere to sit I notice Alex and he waves over telling me to come over and sit. While on the way over the group of cheerleaders walk towards me bumping into me.
"Watch where your going freak" the fake blonde hair girl said while she bumped into me, and instantly knew that was Chloe the schools queen bee.
As the cheer leaders walked away I sat down next to Alex and we spoke about my class timetable and where the classes were, we didn't have last class together which was maths. We said our good byes at lunch and went home after our classes
