After last week, my first day i was seriously trying to start conversations with duo. How could i not?! He was so cute!! it started as asking him if he understood the math to talking about our hobbies. Then it escalated to wanting to hang out. On the inside, when he asked to hang out i was chill. on the inside i was absolutely panicking! I hope i didn't turn red when he asked. but despite all of that, i said sure, i asked where and when.
instead of talking about it during our class time he asked for my number. He said, "we can talk about it after school! i'll text you." I didn't think he was actually going to text me. When someone says they're going to text you, they don't. we finished up with class and i went to my art class. Last week i also made another friend named lily. She was in my art class.
Lily knew i thought duo was cute so she expected to hear something about him every day. Today i told her that i gave him my number. She looked at me in shock like i had just murdered someone. "What?" i said confused. "you gave the hottest guy in school your number?" she said to me. Now i was even more confused, how has it never been mentioned around me that he was the hottest guy at mobile high school?? "What do you mean the hottest guy in school?! And of course i did he asked for it!!" she looked even more shocked than before. I didn't know it was even possible for a human to look that shocked. She looked like a baby pelican with its mouth open.
I was scared, i've never seen anyone look this surprised in my whole life. She screamed at me as loud as she could "HE ASKED YOU FOR YOUR NUMBER?!!!!??" like it was a bad thing. After school i was getting food with Lily and we were talking about it more in a free space away from classmates. Like i said, i didn't think he would text me but *ding* i looked down at my phone. "huh a text from a random number." I opened my phone and it said "Hey it's duo from algebra" I was shock he texted. I looked at lily and practically dragged her out into my car and screamed.
"LILY HE TEXTED ME!!!!" I replied to him acting chill, "Hey! So when do you want to hang out? and where lol" Lily and I were screaming as we waited for a reply. When it finally came, we went silent. We both stared at my phone as i opened it and we both read it "you pick i don't mind :)" I thought to myself (You're really going to make me decide?!)
