Prolouge

Penny aka Penelope used to be a sweet,happy,innocent girl until she encountered a monster. She ran home thinking the monster would stop and leave her alone but it didn't,it followed her home and destroyed her house and then the next thing she knew she was in the car with her mom driving like a maniac and explaining some things to her that didn't make sense.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SO IM A DEMIGOD!?" Penny asked her mom.

"Yes sweetie I know it's a lot to take in but I kept it from you to protect you" the mom explained.

The girl nodded her head slowly

"Okay" she breathed out.

They arrived to a hill with the monster right behind them.

"I'm sorry sweetie" the mom said giving her child a kiss on the forehead before pulling out a pen that turned into a sword.

The mom walked up to the monster and stabbed its hip and left a couple more wounds until she was grabbed by another monster and shifted into dust.

The girl fell to the ground and screamed in agony causing a wave of her powers to release and head towards the monsters killing both of them.

Then everything turned black.

*THE MORNING AFTER*
*3RD PERSON POV*
"I WILL NOT CLAIM HER THE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS GONE BECAUSE OF HER!" MR.D yelled.

"She is your daughter you will need to claim her" Chiron replied.

"NO EVERYTIME I LOOK AT THAT GiRL I SEE HER MOTHER WHO IS NOW DEAD BECAUSE OF THAT BITCH" MR.d said pointing to an asleep Penelope.

What he didn't know is that Penelope was awake the whole time and she heard everything her father had said about her and her mom and it was her fault as tears threatened to pour from her eyes she pretended to be asleep to hear the rest of the conversation which was just Chiron telling MR.D that he couldn't hit her just because she was the "reason her mom died" that was the moment Penelope wanted to die.

Ever since that night with the permission of Chiron he allowed her to stay in the cabin anyway but she never left for anything,not to participate in capture the flag, not to eat she just stayed in the cabin looking at the ceiling.no one knew what she looked liked,who she was,they just knew her story. She had no friends,she had no one that was until two people came to her cabin one day with a lunch tray and a bag of Swedish fish

"Hi you don't know us but I'm Luke this is my best friend Clarisse" said luke.

"Hey so we heard about you from Chiron and we wanted to check up on you and we haven't seen you leave so we thought if you don't wanna leave you're cabin to eat we could bring you food" said clarisse.

"You can just leave it there" said Penelope.

"Can we stay a bit" asked luke.

"Sure" she replied.

The two sat down and opened a bag of Swedish fish.

"Want one?" Offered luke.

Penelope took one as she bit into the fish she did something she hadn't done in a while, she smiled a big smile.

The two smiled knowing that they got the depressed girl to smile.

And that was the day a friendship was formed yes penny stayed in her cabin but she always had luke & clarisse by her side and that was great but she was still depressed but they would be there to help her through it.
