An all-powerful demon- one who had his own dimension, crossed boundaries no other could dream of, once held the- self-appointed- title of Lord and Master by the denizens of Gravity Falls; he was someone not to be trifled with. Bones, heads, bodily organs from billions of species, all from those who crossed him in a collection proved it.

So why was he entertaining a human- a mortal who would die far before he has even a glimpse of his end? Whose death can be played out before him in billions of dimensions, millions of alternate realities, the exact time and date. Bill still isn't sure he can answer that. He's had friends- has friends, he's the life of the party, why wouldn't he?

But a human?

The only human who he could consider to be a friend would be Stanford, and even that was stretching it. Could they really be considered your friend if you used them to create a hole in their dimension so you could later destroy it and everything they love?

...Absolutely!

But this human is of no help- he knows who they are, they're just... a human. No spectacular I.Q, no way to really help him, they're just... there. Existing. Breathing in the filth of this planet and taking up space on this overcrowded rock. Nothing special.

"Oh, wow! This- this is amazing!" You spin around in the large room, feeling the light mist of water on you; the water falls in streams from the ceiling and creates a large pool on the ground below the one you stand on.

Blue highlights and calming water sounds were always peaceful, but in this cave, it was more special than anything you had seen on earth. The glow between the rocks was brightened and helped to illuminate the cave in a soft light.

No. You were just a useless human.

"Check it out, kid!" Bill floats to the ledge, tilting to glance at the pool beneath the two of you. You quickly follow, eager to see what more this particular room has to offer.

A human destined to die.

"Is that- an otter?" You grip the ledge, careful to keep yourself from falling into the depths below. A small creature swam in the water, its body twisting and turning to move through the calm current. Dark blue in color and with multiple tails, it peaks its head out to look at the commotion.

Three big doe eyes peer at you before splashing back into the water below. You smile.

"Ottoculus Beavel! A sickeningly cute cross between an otter and beaver!" Bill floats over the water, the yellow glow from him reflecting of the surface and brightening the area in beautiful colors, "Knew a guy whose head exploded from the cuteness of these deadly things. I don't see it. Between you and me, I think the guy was a drama queen."

But you were also the first thing that greeted him when he was given life. Although frightened, you trusted him and listened to what he had to say. Whether it was stupid of you, he wouldn't mention. The Axolotl wouldn't have brought him back had you not been used as a sacrifice; he would still be gone if your family was "normal" or the Axolotl didn't take a liking to you.

He would be dead.

Forgotten by the world as eons pass and the Milkyway and Andromeda collide. Nothing would be left of him. Any scripture of him from this dimension would be been gone when this dimension eventually collapses. His home dimension was the only saving grace- but with its collapse, he would eventually be forgotten with time.

And it scared him.

Scared like the first galaxy he watched merged a trillion years ago, or his first encounter with the time police, or- the time he was burned alive and erased from existence. If he can't get his dimension back soon, he might as well write his will and hand it off to you.
