So Zeeks father was very abusive towards him and life was miserable. Until Meeko was brought into the world, the parents attempted to throw baby Meeko out to die but Zeek got to him and raised him and the parents (somehow) didn't notice. One day Zeeks parents were being killed in cold blood by a dog and Zeek and Meeko forced to watch both of them die, they both are still traumatized by the murder to this day, and the murder was why Zeek joined the Meekonian Military. So Zeek is so hardcore and (nearly) insensitive because of that... Imagine raising a kitten at the age of 6 (Zeek was 6 because Zeek is 29 (in Meekonian) and Meeko is 23 so yea)! Hard isn't it?
