(Randy and Josè finally make it to the park and sit down on a bench under a tree.)

Josè: I'm just happy that the schools year is almost over.

Randy: Yeah me too.

Josè: Well I'm glad we got to hangout today.

Randy: I'm happy that we're together period. I just hate the fact that we get judged because of it.

Josè: I just ignore it because it's my life let me do what I know is right for me as long as I'm not hurting myself.

Randy: You're right though. They don't understand that we know what we should and shouldn't do.

Josè: But we bring it up, and they never listen or understand, so I just leave it alone.

Randy: Well, you got a point there.

(Randy and Josè end their conversation and begin to stand up as they are standing up the three boys from school enter the park and walk toward Randy and Josè.)

Josè: Oh no!

Randy: What!?

Josè: Those three guys from school are here.

Randy: (Turns around.) Oh where are they I don't see them?

Josè: They're right there. (Points in the direction of the three boys.) and they're walking this way.

Randy: I don't know why they would come here.

(The three boys approach Randy and Josè and began to talk.)

Person #1: So you think you're bad huh?

Josè: What are you talking about?

Person #1: The other day at school when you helped your boyfriend.

Josè: Yeah, because I wants going to let you beat my boyfriend.

Person #1: Okay well we'll just beat you then.

(One of the boys walk up to Josè and punches him in the face. Then Randy runs up to Josè to try and see if he's okay and the other two boys intercept him and hold back from helping Josè. Randy screams and screams stop but can't do anything. Then the boy who punched Josè in the face kicks him in the stomach while he's laying on the ground. After the one sided fight is over Josè is left on the ground and on the brink of death. All three of the boys leave the park and Randy runs up to Josè and holds him in his arms.)

Randy: (Frantically.) Josè! Josè!

Josè: (Coughs.)

Randy: You're coughing up blood. I'm going to call the ambulance.

(In a frantic effort Randy calls the ambulance to the park. The ambulance comes and takes Josè and Randy to the hospital. Randy calls Jose's mom and his sister. Ms. Monica and Pracilla finally make it to the hospital and find Randy sitting in the waiting room.)

Pracilla: (Walks up to Randy.) Randy, what happened?

Randy: (Crying.) The boys from the school came to the park and held me down so I couldn't helped him.

Ms. Monica: (Crying.) Did my son die?

Randy: (Crying.) Yes, he did. I just wish I could've helped.

Ms. Monica: (Cries.)

Pracilla: (Hugs Randy and Ms. Monica and sheds a few tears.) It's alright guys it's going to be okay. We're going to get through this. It's what Josè would've wanted. (Sniffles.)
