On board! [stray kids pirate AU]

As the cold wind blew in his face, Han saw another ship far in the sea. He recognized the flag immediately and ran to alert the captain with a grin on his lips.

"Captain!" Han said, "I saw a JYP marine boat, at 3 o'clock."

"And why do you feel the need to tell me this?" Bangchan didn't look away from his liquor flask, uninterested in the enemy ship.

"Well, Cap, it takes one sacrifice per person to have access to the cave of wonders. I'd say we take 'em from our old friend the marines!"

Bangchan considered it, then took a sip or his liquor.

"For once, you said something that makes sense. All hands on deck! Prepare the canons!"

The captain ran to the wheel and changed the course, straight on the marine's ship. As the other pirates prepared the canons and their guns, Bangchan noticed his youngest crewman trying to help.

"For god's sake," he murmured to himself "Jeongin! Go in the hull, you're of no help here!"

The young boy reluctantly let go of a rope and headed towards the downstairs' trap. Jeongin was one of the newest pirate Bangchan took in. The poor boy was found on a raft in the sea, they gave him a maintenance responsibility because he was no good at fighting. The captain had kind of a soft spot for the kid, so lively and innocent.

Changbin appeared on deck, holding two curved swords, his muscular silhouette menacing. He was their best fighter yet the silliest and funniest member. As soon has he heard a JYP ship was near, he threw on his hard surface and was ready for the raid. Changbin had a boiling hate for JYP Marine, though no one knew why.

They were now side-to-side with the enemy, the pirate's wooden ship three times bigger than the marine's. Bangchan scoffed at the panic on the other boat, some blond guy was yelling orders at the crew-hand.

"Ready!" The captain shouted, seeing the total horror on the blond's face,"Fire!"

Cannon balls went flying almost all hitting the white ship. Pirates put planks between the two boats and started invading, swords and guns out. Changbin was slashing left and right, not leaving anyone out of his fury. Bangchan joined them, picking up a random rope on the way.

"Keep four of them alive!" He yelled through the chaos, hoping one of his commanders would hear him.

Han caught the first person in his way and brought him on board. The boy kept trashing and and screaming but he couldn't get louse from Jisung's grasp. The pirate tied him tightly on the main pole then took a closer look at his captive. Dark brown hair, equally dark eyes, slightly taller and sharp features, he didn't wear a normal marine uniform, more like a cook's apron.

"I got myself a cook, huh?" Han laughed, "A pretty one too? How lucky of me!"

The boy simply groan and frown angrily at the pirate. A scream from the other ship caught Han's attention.

"Welp, gotta go, be right back pretty boy!" He said as he ran back to the action.

The JYP ship had started to sink, most of the crew had been killed and the pirates had their four captives: today's raid was a victory! The pirates drank and feasted on deck, singing and laughing under the bright moon. Only the captain looked unhappy, sitting on his chair near the railing. He glared at the prisoners tied to the main pole, catching words of their conversation.

"OMG! That dirty pirate touched me!" The blond one complained," My uniform in for sure stained!"

"Hyung, could you take the situation more seriously?" The younger brunette said, "we're prisoners to a bunch of pirates and your stained uniform is the thing you complain about?!"

"Could you two not fight? Let's think of a way to get out of here first." Said the blue haired crew mate.

"Yeah sure, like you have an escape idea."the blond rolled his eyes,"My hands are kinda tied, you?"

As they ramble on a way to escape, the fourth prisoner stared into nothingness silently.

Bangchan got up and the ship suddenly as still as a picture; everyone was waiting for the captain's approval to continue celebrating. He walked up to the captives, took out his scimitar and sliced the rope holding them. He grinned as they got up and looked for a way out like startled bunnies.

"Shouldn't we introduce ourselves to our new friends?" He said as the other pirates created a circle around the captives.

"Aye!" They all said loudly.

"Alright then," He mocked a curtsy to the four, "We are the 3Racha! Scavenger pirates on a quest to which you are the key."

"How are we the key?" Asked the brunette as he tried to cross his arms but realized they were still tied.

"That is a question for later, boy. Now it's the time for presentation, I am the captain of this ship, Bangchan."

The pirates whooped for their leader as Han appeared next to him.

"This is my second in command, Han Jisung," Bangchan presented, "and my third in command, Changbin. Don't worry we'll take good care of you three."

"What are you gonna do with us?!" Inquired the blond.

"Nothing too bad, just a little sacrifice.." Han said nonchalantly.

"A what?!" Three of them screamed as the pirates' crew laughed.

The captain made a sign for Jeongin to come closer, the boy approached with his head bowed.

"Jeongin, bring them to the cells," He ordered.

"Yes, captain." He answered as he pulled the blue haired boys arms to the hull.

The crew continued to drink and talk until the sun appeared in the horizon. Bangchan had spent the rest of the night figuring out the position of the Cave of Wonders. No matter how many times he read the maps and notes, nothing gave any good answers. Alas, he would have to scout the entire pacific ocean to find even a trace of the cave.

In the cold and wet hull, Jeongin gave the prisoners their meals. In the two cells, they looked pitiful, all of them shivering. Jeongin thought some conversation wouldn't hurt so he started:

"Hello, I'm Jeongin, who are you?"

The blond rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, "I'm Hyunjin and I was chief of deck hand before y'all blew up our ship!"

"Right, sorry."

"What are you even doing here, kid?" Hyunjin asked.

"I serve the captain, he saved me, but this wasn't my question, what are you guy's names?"

The blue haired boy stood up and gave his hand, "I'm Felix, I was a crew hand."

Jeongin shook Felix's hand with a smile. The young brunette got up as well but did not offer his hand.

"Seungmin, chief engineer."

"Ooh, that takes a lot of talent!" Jeongin commented in admiration, "what about you?" He asked the dark haired boy that was still sitting.

"Oh, he won't talk," Hyunjin said, "He's giving the silent treatment to even his crew."

"Jeongin!" Someone yelled on deck.

"That's me, sorry guys, but I've got to go!"
