A new life

Y/n's POV: My family and I just moved to Japan and everything is different. Mom, Cc, and I are from the US. Christine Charlotte. My little sister whom I call C.C. is five and hasn't gotten her quirk yet, my mom hopes she gets the same quirk as her since I got my Dad's. "Y/n, time for school." A voice called me, it was my mom "I know, I'm heading out now." I said as I walked to the door "Y/n/n wait." I turned my head to see C.C. "Yeah, C.C.?" I bent down to her "Do you have to go?" My cute little sister asked "Yeah, I do. But I'll be back later." "L/n promise?" I chuckled "I Y/n M/n L/n  promise, that I'll be home after school." I smiled. "Yay, and you can't break it." I chuckled again, "I know, I know the rules."

As I walked into my first class I noticed that it was a small class. "Ah, Miss L/n come in" A voice said. I turned to see a man in black with a white scarf as I walked in. I wrote on the board my name and the basic things people need to know about me, like my age and that I understand Japanese but that I don't speak it.

As class ended a girl walked up to me  "Hi you are Akari, right? I'm Akari, I know you don't speak Japanese but I thought it would be nice to meet you.")

She smiled. 'She seems nice, maybe I should 'Talk' to her.' I thought then I took out a piece of paper and wrote "Nice to meet you Akari you too." I smiled a little. I find it stupid that I didn't have time to learn Japanese before I moved here.

"What brings you to Japan?" she asked, "Oh my family moved here not too long ago, I'm from the United States."  Her eyes lit up "No way, that's so cool. I've never been to America." I nodded, "The US is cool, so what's your quirk?"

"Oh, my quirk is a Healing quirk. I can heal almost any injury. But if I use it for too long I'll pass out. What about you, what's your quirk?"

"My quirk is speedster, I can run fast and sometimes I can vibrate my body to go through solid objects." "Wow, that's a cool quirk. You pick a hero's name?" "Speed I know it sounds weird but I think it's cool." I can't believe I made a friend on the first day.

I smiled as we walked through the hall then my phone rang "Hello?" I asked "Y/n, are you on your way home? C.C. is wondering when you're going to be home." My mom asked, "I'm on my way home now Mom." I gave Akari my number and texted her that I had to leave "I understand, go ahead." She said with a smile "Thanks for understanding." I smiled.

As I got home I felt something was off. I felt like he should be here, but he wasn't. I started to tear up "I can't, not now, not anymore I have to be strong for C.C.," I said to myself under my breath. "I'm home." I called out "Y/n, your home. You kept your promise." C.C. said running up to me with a big smile "I told you I would, I made the rules remember." I smiled as I gave her a hug "Guess what, guess what." "What?" I asked curiously "I got my quirk." She started to jump up and down excitedly "I got Mood influence, I got Mom's quirk."
