the day we met in spring

the beginning

once upon a time, in a far far away land, there was a field full of glowing flowers with a girl walking her dog. the sun glows in her beautiful blue eyes, shining down on the flowery land. she sits down next to a cherry blossom tree and takes her diary out of her tote bag.

"dear diary, i am currently sitting down in a gorgeous field watching benji sprint around. he doesn't have a leash on, but its fine since its a massive field and i am watching him. the sun is glimmering in my eyes, and the clouds are swirling around. i don't think its gonna rain at all. the pink leaves are falling off the tree and one just fell in my hair. oh i just saw someone park their car. i guess theres other people coming. i have to go. i will write in you tomorrow goodbye"

the girl stood up and put her diary back in her bag, she went to get benji and put him back on a leash. the other person walked through the field and he stared at her. she looked back. he looked around her age. he was tall with fluffy brown hair and she couldn't really tell what his eye colour was from that distance. she walked with her dog to the end of the field to get to her car and  made eye contact with the boy. they went past eachother and the boy tripped her up. he started laughing and she sighed and looked at him angrily. she stood up and walked home with benji.

when she got home

"mum im home!!" the girl shouted.
"okay salads on the side" her mum said

she went into the kitchen and got her dinner and went upstairs to eat it, while scrolling on tiktok. she sees a boy that looks like the one in the field show up on her fyp. his name was freddie woods. she checked the comments and saw lots of people she knew in their. they all go to her school. they were all complimenting him. she viewed his profile forgetting her profile views are on, and checked out his other videos. she stalked his following and followers to see if anyone of her friends follow/are followed by him. her bestfriend pearl is following him. she went onto snapchat and texted pearl.

"so basically today I went for a walk with Benjamin and this guy around my age tripped me over on purpose and I was scrolling on tiktok and saw a guy who looks exactly like him and like everyone I know is following him who is he"
"Im sorry idk who you mean whats his name😂"
"his tiktok says his name is freddie.woodss so I'm presuming his name is Freddie Woods or Freddie wood"
"Oh my goodness you have not heard of him?"
"no😭 do you know him?"
"He just joined our school 2 days ago😂"
"WHATTT HOW COME IVE NOT SEEN HIM"
"Hes been skipping most lessons because hes a troublemaker but he is so cute"

she turned her phone off and gagged. then she started crying of laughter. she carried on eating her salad and then did her makeup and hair to go out to the shop. you may wonder in what kind of universe would someone spend all their energy doing lots of makeup and curling their hair just to go down 5 streets to a shop. i mean what kind of girl wouldn't? makeup is like the main goal of being an icon. after she got ready, she opened her purse and counted her money. she smiled and plugged her airpods into her ears, waving goodbye to Benji. she walked outside without saying bye to her mum. she walked down her street enjoying the sence of nature and sunshine. she was playing her favourite song, 'Peppers' by Lana Del Rey. she was smiling and enjoying her day until she got stung by a bee. no im only kidding she didnt get stung. only worse. she saw the boy again. freddie. he was walking up the hill with his airpods in listening to the smiths. he was wearing the best outfit a guy could ever wear. ralph lauren. he had a ralph lauren light jumper around his waist and a white plain t-shirt with jeans. his hair was so fluffy it caught her eye. she couldn't stop staring at him. but then he noticed her. he smiled and walked up the road. she had a pit in her stomach and went the other way. she took a 'shortcut' just to realize it was a dead end.
"hey little girl!! what are you doing here at this time? its literally 8PM!! a bit late dont ya think? an old man shouted.
"i'm 16... but okay, and i can do what i want, so i am going to walk back the other way. also it isnt even dark its literally sunset." the girl said.
"your not going anywhere get in my truck!!" the old man screamed running up to her.
"GET AWAY FROM ME" she sprinted away from him but he was so much faster.
a basketball flew onto the back off his head and knocked him out. he started bleeding, he passed out fell on the road.
"your welcome princess" freddie shouted with a smile on his face, "now i have to walk you home otherwise you'll probably pass by more pedos"
he walked up to her smiling. she didn't know what to do in that position because he basically just saved her life. but she told him to go away and walked off because he tripped her over. it suddenly started getting darker and she got lost on her way home. she didn't know where she was and no one was surrounding her. she saw a group of roadmen knowing she would have to pass by them. she was scared so she turned around and walked back.
"yo mrs!! can i get ya snap??" one of the roadman screamed. she gave him a dirty look and ran away. "OI YOU GET BACK HERE" they went after her sprinting like little dancing monkeys. her spotify played spice girls while she was running and it was so funny. she ran and couldn't see a thing and then crashed into someone. it was another roadman.
"who do you think you are running away from us yeah bossman" one of them said.
bossman?? im sorry but what kind of person would call a girl that. she didn't even do anything to deserve some weird penguins chasing after her. she tried to run away but couldn't because she was in the middle of a circle of them.
"what do you want from me" she asked.
"chill gal we just wanted your snap and ya started running like what"
"who wouldnt run away from you when you are dressed like a robber..." she said.
freddie noticed she was stuck between them and decided to run up to them and rip someones hair out and push him over, then he dragged one onto the floor and beat one up, then he knocked one out with his basketball, and he threw a glass of vodka on one and smashed it on his shoulder which made him pass out.
"right who wants to get strangled? you have 5 seconds. RUN" he said. "you alright?" he asked, "dont worry about them theyre not dead theyre just gonna be on faint mode for a while, just like that man unless he gets ran over"
"why do you keep protecting me i dont even know you" she asked
"well imagine if you were my sister i wouldnt leave you stranded by a bunch of peasants" he said, "come on im taking you home, where do you live."
"why would i tell you that" she asked
"well then youll have to stay at mine" he said
he walked her home and it started raining so he gave her his jumper because it was freezing. even though he froze after that. he walked her to his house. it was a literal massive mansion what.  he gave her a tour. he gave her the most luxurious guest room and she was shocked. she was a complete stranger in shock because who would just let a stranger stay in a really expensive room?
"you can wear my sisters pajamas for bed" he gave her pajamas and went out the room to let her get changed. he went to the hallway and saw his best maid trixie. "trixie we have a girl guest staying in room 10 as erika isnt gonna be working for a while, tomorrow i want you to make sure she gets served breakfast in bed and give her some nice clothes from the main closet." freddie asked. trixie nodded. freddie went into his massive room with his king sized bed and styled his hair in his own bathroom with a hair dryer. he brushed his teeth and washed his face then got a relaxing warm bath. he went on his phone and scrolled on tiktok and got some notifications. he went on his profile to see how many views his newest video got, and then checked his profile views. the girl was in the views. he smiled. he put spotify on and played chase atlantic and went on instagram to see that his ex selena followed him... selena dated him 2 months back and she ended up cheating on him by kissing a guy in her school and it turned out she was lying to him the whole time in their relationship anyway. she sent him a message and he checked it.

"hey freddie, i miss you. call me when you get this"
he didnt know what to do after what she did to him, but then he decided to reply back.
"i cant call im busy what do you want"
"i wanna know how its going with you"
"thats none of your business"
"dating anyone?"
"cheating on your new guy?"
"okay shush, the reason i texted you is actually because my mum wants to plan a wedding between us"
"WHAT?? I THOUGHT YOU TOLD HER WE BROKE UP!!"
"oh my gosh calm down- and i lied about that aswell. she thinks were dating. tbh i think itll be an excellent opportunity!!"
"excellent opportunity? are you fucking joking? an excellent opportunity to get married to my crazy cheating lying cunt of an ex?"
"naughty stop swearing baby"
"call me that again and ill knock you out"
"with a basketball? gotta try harder mate"
"how do you know..."
"i was watching you. i still care freddie"
"you lied to me..."
"actually i didnt lie to you, i just didnt tell you stuff"
"well i was dating a fucking vampire"
"better watch the things you say to me gotta think twice ill rip that throat out and that precious girls out"
"fine we'll get married."
"YAY!!! LETS PLAN THIS NOW!!"

the girls pov

she scrolled through pinterest and added some pins to her board. she put her airpods in and played some 'the smiths' to fall asleep with. freddie went out the bath and got into his pajamas and checked up on her. he saw airpods in her ear and decided to see what music she was listening to.
"the smiths... something we have in common love" he whispered. he went out and turned the light off. he went into his room. the girl wasnt actually asleep yet and she heard her.
"weirdo" she whispered. she eventually fell asleep.

the next morning

what a wonderful morning!! waking up to the beautiful sunrise facing the luxurious room. she hopped out of bed and opened the blinds. she looked in the mirror and put her lip balm on. she went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth and washed her face and brushed her hair. she went back into her room to see breakfast on her bed. 2 chocolate crossaints, french toast and an egg. she went back into the bed and went on her phone and ate it.

"hey pearl"
"omg where r u"
"yk that freddie guy"
"yes where r u ur mums being looking for u"
"i had to stay at his house because i wouldnt tell him my address"
"why didnt you text me"
"my phone was on low charge"
"okay your mum said be home for 12"
"pm?"
"obviously"

freddie went to one of the maids bedroom and asked her if she knows what the girl's name is. she didn't know, no one there knew so he went in her bedroom to ask what shes called. he walked off and called the limo for a drive to his football game.

the best maid trixie knocked on her door.
"come in!!" she said
trixie went in and gave her an outfit to wear and the limo came back and gave her a ride home.
