"Sarah?!", yelled my mom through the entire appartment. "You need to hurry or else you'll be late for school!"
I ran downstairs and almost bumped into my brother who was leaving the kitchen. "Did you already eat breakfast?", asked he. "Got no time", I panted while reaching the door. Today is my last day in San Francisco and I want to greet my friends and spend my last day here in peace.
I sighed and entered the school building. "Hey, how are you? We got a gift for you", greeted me Anitta and Lisa. "Really? Thanks guys but that was not-", I got interruped by a book, I got pressed into my hands. "No way, you got it? I thought it was compleately sold out!", I demanded. "Well, it was but we got the last one." My friends are literally the best ones, it's just sad that we need to get separated only because of my parents. After calsses, we spent the rest of the day in my favourite parc, where lots and lots of free cats could be found.
"You're home late". My mom's voice came out of the kitchen, she was probably cooking, judging from the delicious scent that was spread in the house. "I enjoyed my last day in San Francisco." She didn't reply. "Night", I simply said, tired of this silence. "Are you skipping dinner?", was the only things that left her mouth. I nodded, which she probably didn't see.5 am. Why do I have to wake up so early? Oh, right, we're moving to New York today. In a blink of an eye, I was sitting with my family in the car, on our way to our new home. "Try joining a club at school. It's a great opportunity to make new friends", suggested my dad. Hell, no, I'm good. The pressure to get along with the new classmates and teachers, is already stressful enough, no need to make this more complicated with joining a club.
"I'll think about it".
