Two Step? (Book I)

Goofy idea from chapter 16 of my first W&M book. Because, I only just recently learned the two step XD
And I must say, my friend was a good leader. Even though he doesn't like dancing lol

come on, Fleetwood Mac is good and no one can take that away from me. And I know it's not a slower song but I thought it kinda worked,, in my opinion at least. Would you have prefered something like Nickleback of Five Finger Death Punch haha

"One, two, three and four," Raf whispered quietly as he looked down at his shoes to make sure they didn't collide with Koda's feet. She'd taken off her shoes since she had continuously kept hitting the younger boy by accident.

The woman nodded in approval , "See, now you've got the hang of it!"

Around them the Bots' were watching with interest. Never had they seen this sort of dance before. Back on Cybertron the dances that happened were mostly drunken, as many gatheredd in bars to enjoy themselves.

Arcee tilted her helm curiously at the slowed movements that Koda performed to allow Raf to catch up. On the worn yellow couch, Miko and Jack watched the two, the girl having her phone out and taking photos.

"Ready?" Koda asked a few moments later. 

"For what?" Raf exclaimed nervously.

Suddenly he was spun around before reconnecting with the woman, "That!" She laughed, her gaze fell over to the two on the couch, "Come and join! It's easy when you get the hang of it."

But then Miko grinned evily and looked over at their observing Guardians, "I've got a better idea."

Ratchet took no part in the activity, claiming that he had too much work to do. Though everyone knew he would watch on the sidelines.

Optimus however, was intrigued by this activity. And for once in his life, stopped working to join in the fun. 

Koda lined everybody up, guardian and charge together. Which placed Koda with Optimus. 

Though as she stepped up to him she couldn't help the strange flutter that erupted in her chest. With careful movements she gently directed him to where his hands should be. One on her back, just below the shoulder blade, preferably the dominant hand. Then his hand was placed out like an open thumbs up, which he found rather confusing. At least till Koda set her hand atop his, allowing a small hold to form. Then with her free hand she rested it on his shoulder, allowing her arm to rest on his.

Then they slowly started moving, it was a bit of a bumpy ride at first, finding the correct movement and placements. Until they were moving in unison, like the others, moving around in a slow circle. 

"Where are your shoes?" Optimus asked after a few moments, looking down to see Koda's socked feet. 

"Oh-I uhm, I kept hitting Raf with m-my shoes so I took them off," Koda stuttered. She cursed herself, what was wrong with her?!

"I see."

Koda nodded and looked down, well, in front of her as the Prime's frame stood a few inches taller than her. She took in a shaky breath and noted how sweaty her hands were getting, and how shaky she felt. She'd neer felt liek thsi before and she didn't know what to do, only stating, "Sorry my hand is sweaty."

Optimus chuckled, "It is okay. Just breathe."

With a slow nod, Koda took in a few breaths, only to let out a tiny yelp as Optimus spung her around. Wow, he's good. Stop! What is my mind doing?! Why do my cheeks feel so warm? I don't know what's happening to me, this is just a dance!

"Apologies," He stated softly.

Koda shook her head, "No it's okay, I just wasn't expecting it."

But as the minute passed the two found their momentum. Moving in perfect sync. Whenever Optimus would twirl Koda he noticed the gleeful look upon her face, making him smile too. He didn't know why, but this just felt right.

Around them the Autobots and humans were finding their groove, though not as well as Koda and Optimus had. On one twirl Koda had spotted Miko giving her a thumbs up, to which the woman shook her head before returning to her original position. 

All in all, it was safe to say that Koda figured out how good of a leader Optimus really was. Both on the battlefield, and on the dancefloor.

DANCING XD

After our dancing unit for P.E I really wanted to write something like this, even if it was short. Which oneshots are in some cases lol. But yeah, thanks to a pretty cool teacher I got to learn the two step and be able to write this haha. I honestly like the dance too. It's pretty fun. But yeah, I was with my friend and she's got tiny feet and I got big feet, so I kept hitting her with my feet. Ended up having to take my shoes off lol. So you could say this is plucked out of a class XD. But not really. Or is it? *Evil laughter*
