One Shot

You were fighting a villain. You gained your license some days ago and you already had a mission. What a luck... You didn't even know what was the villain's quirk since he was just running away from you. You were keeping up with him but not close enough to use your quirk. Honestly, your range wasn't so good and you were just beginning to work on it.

Suddenly, the guy you were chasing turned around and hit you with his quirk. It made you feel so weird that you stopped and let the villain escape from your grasp. It was like you gained a new body. You tried to see what was happening to you and, when you looked behind you, a fluffy thing blocked your view. A tail. That's what it was. The villain just made you have a tail... Just your luck. You hated being the center of the attention and the cat tail wasn't going to help when you were going to get back to school. You didn't want the others to see you like that?! Bakugo was totally going to laugh at you if he saw what happened! As you were freaking out, you missed how your palms didn't look the same. Plentar pads had appeared on them while you were distracted. When you did saw them, you freaked out even more and hid your fluffy tail. You needed to return to school as soon as possible so you ran all the way there while hoping no one would ask questions or even talk to you.

When you got to the dorms, some of your classmates where there. Midoriya tried to talk to you but you just speed walked past him, shocking not only him but the other guys in the room too. Even Bakugo was surprised, not that he'd admit it. You were always kind with everyone and answering them with a big smile and now you were ignoring them? Something was definitely wrong with you.

Midoriya was so afraid that he did something wrong that he asked the others if it was the case. When the answer he received was "no", he decided to go after you to see what was wrong. The curiosity got the best of Todoroki, Kaminari, Kirishima and Bakugo and so they followed the green haired boy.

You, on the other end, locked yourself in your room. It was really bad. Cat ears were growing on your head and you didn't know what to do. You were really scared. What if you turned completely into a cat? What if you couldn't turn back into yourself anymore? What if no one wanted to see you nor talk to you after that? You got into your bed as tears rolled down your cheeks. Why does it had to be you. You never asked for that! Sure the tail and ears were cute but you didn't want to turn into an animal because a villain got you?! You wanted to be a hero, not a burden to everyone?! How were you supposed to be a hero when you couldn't even catch a little villain?

You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn't hear the banging on the door. Midoriya tried to hit it lightly but, when you didn't answer, Bakugo took the lead and almost broke it. You didn't even know that, behind the door, the guys were freaking out even more than you. They could see the light coming from under so they knew you were there. Bakugo got annoyed about waiting and was going to blow your door open when Todoroki stopped him.

- Let me do it.

He then used his ice quirk to freeze the lock and break it. It worked. The door opened and they all got in so fast that it wouldn't be considered human possible. They stopped as fast as they got in when they saw you with... Cat ears? And a tail?!

How the heck did she got those?! Was the first thought that got into Bakugo's head.

You lift up your teary eyes and froze when you saw them. Your new ears flopped down your head as fear striked into your eyes. What were they doing here?! You were sure you locked the door so they had to break it. One look at the door confirmed it. They had broke your door. Bakugo was the first to break the silence.

- What the fuck is that?! How did you get those?!

It seems to unfroze the others. Midoriya began to ramble, trying to find an explanation. Kaminari and Kirishima were talking together about how cute you were like you weren't there. And Todoroki was trying not to pet you.

You, on the other hand, didn't want to tell them that you got hit by a quirk... On your first official mission... You were ashamed of it and you were hoping no one would know but, apparently, nothing was going like you wanted today. Bakugo got close to you, angry that you didn't say a word, and grabbed you by the collar.

- Say it! What the fuck happened?!

That scared you even more than the fact that you could turn completely into a cat at any moment so you blurt out the truth.

- A Villain. I got hit by a villain's quirk.

- Hah?! You got hit by that shitty extra's quirk?! Tch. I didn't know you were this weak.

Midoriya stopped rambling as tears spilled out of your eyes again. You really didn't need to hear that at the moment. He let go of your collar and your head fell so they couldn't see your face anymore. Kirishima saw how your head dropped and knew his friend made the situation worse.

- Bakubro. I don't think she needs to hear that right now...

He then got close to you and patted your back.

- Are you okay peb- I mean y/n?

You didn't answer but hugged him really hard. You really needed that. He didn't wait too long to take you in his arms, letting you cry there as long as you needed too. You were to sweet for your own good. The others sat on your bed. It was certainly too much for Todoroki because his hand find his way on the top of your head, between your cat ears, gently caressing your hair. A muffled noise broke the silence. The sound was coming from you and they soon knew what it was. You were purring. The guys thought it was really adorable and you thought it was embarrassing. It made you hide your face even more in Kirishima's chest.

- You're so cute sunshine!

Kaminari was the only thing breaking the silence other than your purring. Midoriya was eying you like he wanted something. You cought his gaze when you lift up your head.

- What is it Midoriya?

He jumped before blushing so much that he started rambling again.

- Iwanttoseeifyouhaveothercatsfeatures

You were used to his rambling so you understood him correctly but still asked for confirmation.

- You want to see if I have other cats features? I'm not sure...

His puppy dog eyes got you. They got you everytime. It's like he knew it would work on you and was using it to his advantage.

- Fine...

You let Kirishima go and put your palms in front of you.

- I have this too...

The green haired boy immediately took one of your hand in his and began looking at it intensely before lightly touching it with his other hand.

- So you're turning into a cat because of that shitty villain. Great.

You turned your head to the grumpy boy.

- I'm sorry... I was running after him and he suddenly turned back and hit me with his quirk... I couldn't do anything...

- But you're okay. It's all that matters to us, Kirishima said, seeing looking even more ashamed about yourself by the second.

- He's right. I can still catch the villain for you if you want, said Todoroki.

- Tch. I hate to admit it but they're right. I'm going to kick that villain's ass so hard that his mother won't even recognize him.

That made you laugh for the first time of the day. It was more of a giggle but it was still better for the boys than seeing you cry.

- They're right, even kacchan agreed, no one should make a pretty girl cry like that without getting beaten up. I'm going to take care of that too sunshine. And then you can call me your knight in shining armor.

Another giggle escaped your mouth.

- Thanks my knight in shining armor, I really appreciate that.

A pleasant silence filled the room and a smile appeared on your face.

- Seriously... Thanks guys.

The quirk wore off 2 hours later and you were finally free from all your fears. As for the villain, he was mysteriously found badly beaten up in front of the police station.
