It was a normal day here at the superstar daycare. the kids were yelling, running around, and having fun and all. But something felt off... something I couldn't put my finger on. Was it the fact bloodmoon was nicer now? No-no..not it. I sighed, leaning back into my bed.
It wasn't that long ago that me and sun were separated. Sun happily played with the kids without having to worry about me causing any harm. Probably is glad I'm out of his body. I always hurt the children.. I thought with a sigh.
"moony!" A voice called out suddenly.
"Yes lunar?" I called back.
"I need you to help me with something really fast!" I sighed.
"I'm coming lunar." I got out of my bed, walking over to where lunar was.
"I think bloody is in a clingy mood today..I can't get him off me." I eyed lunar who has a tallish red-version of myself cuddled close to him, purring happily.
"Can't you shove him away?"
"I've tried to moony! I couldn't do it tho! Whenever I did get him away, he just shuffled back to me!" I chuckled.
"How about you just let him rest for now, he's probably just tired." I suggested
"But my shift starts soon!" I blinked. My red eyes shining a bit. I had completely forgotten about lunars shift!
I thought for a moment before getting an idea. "Bring bloodmoon with you?" Lunar eyed me a bit before sighing"
"I'll try..but I don't want him to be lovey-dovey when I'm with the kids!" I laughed softly. Bloodmoon yawned as he opened his eyes.
"What's with the chatter?" Bloodmoon purred quietly. Lunar grumbled something as bloodmoon just nuzzled against lunar happily. Lunar huffed.
"Well, I'll be back in my room if you guys need me or need anything, and or if sun needs something from me." Lunar nodded to me as bloodmoon just curled around lunar.
Heh..they act like a couple sometimes! As i entered his room, I shut the door and leaned on it. I still felt as if something was off..but still had no idea what. Maybe a nap could help clear my mind. I layed down in his bed, curling up around one of my blankets as i slowly, yet surely dozed off into sleep.
A bit after i awoke, i quickly remembered what i felt off about. The new daycare attendant! As quick as I could, I jumped out of bed and rushed to the others.
"I'll be back in a moment! I need to grab someone!" I called to sun, lunar, and bloodmoon. Sun looked at me in a 'i thought you hated meeting people?' look. Lunar nodded to me. And bloodmoon was asleep again.
As I raced to parts-and-service I took a glance at Freddy, who waved to me. I waved back before continuing on. I wonder who this new daycare attendant will be! I thought excitedly.
By the time I got to the parts and service area, I slowly walked in, careful to make sure I didn't interrupt anything.
"Hello? I was called to get a new daycare attendant?" I said to the few S.T.A.F.F. members who were there.
"Ah yes. Solar should be the one your looking for." One of the S.T.A.F.F. members told me.
"I believe so." I nodded. The S.T.A.F.F soon brought out a black-orange-yellow sun- looking anitronic.
I glanced the anitronic up and down a bit before pointing my head to the door, leading the anitronic off.
"So, your solar I assume?" I asked. They nodded.
"Solar." I gave a smile.
"It's good to meet you, solar! I'm moondrop just moon for short tho!"
As solar and I chatted a bit, we soon made our way back to the daycare.
"Come on! The others will want to meet you!" Solar hesitated, before nodding as he followed.
As we entered the full daycare area, sun tilted his head at me.
"Brother? Who's this?" He pointed towards solar.
"This, is solar. A new daycare attendant the S.T.A.F.F. made." I respond to sun as solar waved nervously. Sun tilted his head a bit more before nodding.
"Well, it's good to have more help on our hands! Welcome to the team solar. The same is sundrop! Sun for short." Solar nodded a bit.
I glanced between the two a bit before speaking again. "So, solar. Want me to show you around?" Solar nodded to me. I led him around the daycare, showing him different areas such as the gift-shop, which was never opened—the theater, his room (and or what his room would be), etc.
"Hey..moon?" Solar asked me quietly.
"Yes solar?" Solar took a deep breath.
"Solar...isint my actual name." Eclipse bluttered out. I tilted his head at him in confuseion.
"the S.T.A.F.F. had said i had to be called solar for some kind of.. protection reason...but my real name is eclipse." I paused for a few more moments before nodding.
"If you wish, and it makes you feel more comfortable, do you wanna be called eclipse instead?" I asked eclipse softly. He nodded to me, and I nodded to him.
"Well then! Eclipse is it. Now come on! You should meet lunar at and bloodmoon." I pointed my head to lunars room, where I had just guessed that's where lunar and bloodmoon were.
"Hey lunar!" I knocked on lunars door. No response. I knocked again, still no response.
"Maybe he's just not in his room?" Eclipse suggested.
"It's a possibility! But, while we wait, wanna head to my room?" Eclipse nodded happily as I led him off again.
As we got to my room, a small black-spotted-white ball of fluff layed on hlmy bed, along with a brown-tan ball of fluff. Eclipse tilted his head at the two, putting a hand out to the balls of fluff.
I chuckled softly.
"That's dish and Willow! My two cats." Eclipse blinked a bit.
"You can pawn cats?" I nodded.
"I didn't know you could own cats here!" I laughed softly.
"You can, the S.T.A.F.F. just can't know tho. They'd take them away." I paused for a moment.
"Sun used to have two cats. Tux and midnight. But the S.T.A.F.F..you know-" I sighed. Eclipse was quiet for a few moments before speaking.
'"they got taken away.." I nodded. Eclipse has a look of sorrow on his face.
"That's so mean and sad!" Eclipse huffed.
"It's part of the rules sadly." Eclipse glanced around the room a bit before sitting down on the floor by my bed.
"You know, I'm fine with you sitting on my bed eclipse." Eclipse blinked at me a bit before shuffleing into my bed.
I chuckled softly as I sat next to eclipse, whom slowly started to just fall asleep, leaning on me.
