While everyone was busy doing their "work" as they say, he was left in a cell in their.... dungeon? The musky smell of rum was in the air as well as cigarettes which he was for sure thought was going to kill him eventually. The incandescent light flickered a bit and fruit flies were searching through the air for some leftover foods. He will become the food once he rots in here. Fareis missed his family so much; it aches his heart thinking about them.
He tried looking for a way to unlock the heavy, metal, door so that he could escape.
As Fareis was pacing around the cell, thinking of different ways he might be able to escape. After 2 hours of brainstormig his eyes got sleepy so he decided to take a nap. When Fareis woke up, he realized that he slept not to take a nap! He checked the clock outside of his cell to see it was 10 past 9 in the night!
He suddenly noticed a small hole in the floor. It was covered with a layer of dust and dirt, but Fareis could see that it connected to a narrow tunnel just big enough for him to fit through. He quickly climbed down into the tunnel and started crawling, hoping that it would lead him to a way out.
That's weird, how come I haven't noticed this before?
As Fareis crawled through the dark, narrow tunnel, he could hear strange growling sounds and feel the wind rushing past him. He wasn't sure if it was safe, but he had no choice but to keep going. After what seemed like an eternity, the tunnel finally opened up into a room full of architecture. Paintings and statues were seen everywhere.
Am I in a art gallery?
Fareis slowly stood up and looked around the art gallery. Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching him. He quickly crouched behind a statue and peeked around the corner. Four men wearing suits were walking toward him, looking around the room carefully. Fareis could tell that they were bodyguards based on their huge muscular body. He watched as they walked past him and exited the room.
Fareis knew he had to get out of there as quickly as possible. He quickly scanned the room for an exit and spotted a door on the other side. He crept quietly toward it, hoping to find a way out. As he reached for the handle, he heard footsteps coming toward him again. He quickly jumped behind a pillar and held his breath, praying that the gangsters wouldn't see him.
Oh fuck.. oh fuck! I'm gonna die. God, Allah, Buddha, Lei Gong, Zeus please please please protect me right now. I don't give a shit about which one of you is real, I just need your help.
But he was too late. One of the men spotted him hiding and pointed in his direction. Fareis bolted for the door, but it was locked. He searched for the key, but couldn't find it anywhere. He could hear the guards getting closer, and his heart was racing.
Just as he was about to give up, he noticed a small window in the door. In a flash, he grabbed a stool and smashed it against the window, breaking it open. Fareis climbed through the opening and found himself outside again.
