Walking silently down the hall John kept an eye on the life signs detector and caught glimpses of Lia's back as she walked, watching her white blonde braid sway down her back and just passed her hips. He licked his lips and looked away from her, realising that he knew absolutely nothing about her. Not even her name.
He cleared his throat, "So.. Would it be okay if I asked your name? You know, instead of calling you her and she." Lia smirked slightly and looked back at the Major. "I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours?" John chuckled slightly, "Major John Sheppard." Lia nodded in approval and smiled, "Arlyia Zara. But Lia for short." John smiled liking her name more then he should have for not knowing her at all. Putting her arm out John slowed behind Lia, they walked up to a little nook area where there was a window you could over see what looked like a dining room.
There was a long dining table with a creatures head on the table and a skeletal being at one end of the table. There was a scream of pain and both Lia and John crouched down so they wouldn't be noticed and looked out the window. Noticing two wraith drones, the wraith queen and the Colonel down below. The Colonel being fed upon by the wraith queen and groaning in excruciating pain, John shot at the wraith queen as Lia threw a knife burying it into the head of a wraith guard.
The other wraith guard shot towards john and Lia but they both lowered themselves lower to avoid being stunned, the queen kept her focus on the Colonel and kept feeding. Lia took out another knife and threw it towards the second wraith guard burying the knife into its neck as john shot at the wraith killing it instantly. Lia watched John as she seen a hard decision being made in his mind, Sumner looked into Johns eyes and silently begged him to take the shot. Taking the shot that killed his commanding officer the queen whirled around towards the pair up on the balcony, two new wraith guards came out from behind them hearing the commotion and stunned both of them.
Pulling them both to the dining table area the wraith guard splayed John out on the table for the queen to question him as the other two guards held onto Lia's unconscious form. The stun affects had eased off but he still felt pins and needles in his fingers and toes, the wraith queen moved towards the Major, "How's the hand feeling?" John asked sarcastically.
Looking at her feeding hand and with a toothy grin said "Much better." As the gun shot wound healed completely. "I'm sorry to hear that." John grunted out as the wraith guards hand tightened around his neck pushing his neck back down. The queen looked over Johns attire and picked up the life signs detector in his vest pocket and pulled it out noticing that it was an advanced technological artifact. Looking at the detector and realising what it was she asked John how it came to him. He lifted his head to look at it. "I don't remember." John said flippantly. The wraith guard yet again slammed his head back down on the table.
Realising she wasn't going to get any answers out of The Major, she turned towards the unconscious woman being held by her guards. Stalking towards Lia she sniffed the air around the woman as the wraith guards lifted her up. The queens eyes lit up as she realised what she had in front of her, Lia's head lolled around as she started to wake up. "Don't touch her!" John shouted. However the queen was too distracted by the woman, Lia's eyes widened as she noticed her surroundings. A massive pain shot through her head as she realised the queen was trying to enter her mind, not allowing her access the wraith queen growled lowly and pulled up her feeding hand to feed on her when a slight pulse of energy burst from Lia's body, enough to knock the wraith away from her hoping that John didn't see it. Knowing what was about to happen, she stood out of the way as to not get caught in a crossfire.
A sudden gunshot through the wraith guards face surprised the queen then three more gunshots imbedded into the wraiths chest and abdomen killing it. Ford shot both of the other two wraith that were holding Lia when she was unconscious, dropping to the floor John rolled off the table as the queen was still too shocked to pay any attention to the human and the woman. "Light it up!" John ordered through his radio as he was rolling and landed on his feet.
