Regium.
The new country of the future world.
Developed with the highest technology mankind has come up with.
Who needs airplanes. They've got black holes capable of transporting anyone, anywhere.
Regium is considered the most powerful country in the New World, rivaled only by the country Malumnia.
The Jeova Institute.
The most advanced school in the universe.
The children who study there have either big brains, strong sporting abilities or are children of the leaders of Regium.
Sofia Grace was one of them. With a big brain and a name meaning wisdom, she was deemed a candidate for the Jeova Institute.
"How did I get here?" She murmured to herself. Just a few days ago, she was sent an official looking letter from the Royals ordering her to pack her belongings and to head into a black hole to Greater Regium, the heart of Regium. She recalled the threat of being sued if she refused to comply.
"Sofia Grace," called a serene voice. "Please proceed to the Briefing Room."
As she walked into the corridor, she passed by classrooms, gyms, swimming pools and science labs. She gaped as she followed the glowing light of her keycard that pointed to the Briefing Room. As she swung the ornate doors open, she was amazed. It was like nothing she had ever seen before. She saw golden hexagonal stars embossed into the golden walls, along with pyramids and Latin quotes. She wondered if the symbols had anything to do with the Royals, as they were the builders of the Jeova Institute.
"Sofia Grace, please come in," said the same serene voice. When she turned the corner, she saw a woman with silvery hair and a toned physique.
"That's me," she replied, warily.
"I trust you signed up for General Knowledge and Wisdom?" Said the Woman. Sofia could tell it was a rhetorical question.
"Definitely."
"Just stay calm now, there is nothing to be afraid of,"
"Wh-OUCH!" She yelled. She was injected with a piece of metal, that to her stung like hell. As she tried to walk out of the room, she felt drowsy and felt as if her world was disappearing into nothingness.
She fainted.

"Where am I?" Whispered Sofia. She looked around to see mysterious symbols around her, her sitting on a bed, a big tv, an ornate door and a chest of drawers.
"The Jeova Institute." She whispered. As she got up, she began to remember everything that had happened to her before she passed out. She remembered the Royal symbols, the golden walls and the pretty woman. As she glanced at the equally as ornate mirror, she saw the small inscription of the words Set Vita Crescere. She translated it to Let Life Grow using her Latin Dictionary.
"Good morning, Sofia." Said the Woman,
"What did you do to me?" Said Sofia, with a hint of anger.
"We simply placed a little device in your brain. It detects your progression between lessons and doubles as a tracker," replied the Woman.
My goodness

"This is where your schooling will take place," gestured the Woman
"Thank you," replied Sofia. For nothing
As she stepped in the once again, golden room, she rolled her eyes. Is everything in this place golden?
"Hey, are you Sofia Grace??" Asked a new voice.
"Yep. I'm Sofia Grace,General Knowledge, and you are?"
"Anissa Green, Swimming." Replied the girl now known as Anissa. She looked to be about Sofia's age, with an easy smile, crazy hair and toned skin.
"Nice to meet you, Anissa," said Sofia.
"I'm your Jeovinian buddy. By the way, Jeovinian is the term for people who live here," grinned Anissa. "This is how life at the Jeova Institute goes. Basically, the goal of your time here is to win points. You win points from grades, class work, behavior and achievements. Your points are your currency and your ticket to the high life. The more points you have, the better job you get. You can spend your points on conveniences, but spending too much could bring your level down."
"I see. So how many points do you have?" Asked Sofia
"666," said Anissa." We better get to class,"

Sofia walked into the the again, golden room. Something was different about this one. A handsome boy with a big grin was standing in the middle of it.
"Hey," greeted the Boy.
"I'm Sofia Grace. You are?"
"Tanner Silvering. Finally there's someone else in General Knowledge!" Said the boy, happily.
Sofia smiled. The boy seemed likeable and intelligent, which were traits she found rare to find.
"Our mentor is Sandra Fleming. She's really intelligent and was the Prime Minister of Regium. She's cool," said Tanner.
"Morning Tanner. Oh look, there's a new girl!" Said Ms.Fleming. She was a kindly-looking woman, with greying hair and red horned spectacles.
"I'm Sofia Grace, nice to meet you Ms.Fleming." Said Sofia, politely. She gently shook hands with the woman and sat in her seat.
"Nice to meet you too, Ms.Grace! Finally I have someone new to teach. I'm told kids don't like general knowledge that much cause it's well, too general!" Chuckled Sandra. "To kick off the academic year, the Jeova Institute will be holding a fair showcasing projects created to advance mankind.
They groaned in unison.
