Its been two years since we've come back to Forks and got with the shifters and made sure that nothing has been changed or tampered with. with everything still as it has been since we signed the treaty we went along about our lives.
its just some feeling I'm getting tells me that this year isn't gonna be like the years before where I'm alone. & I didn't ned Alice to say anything about my future cause I already knew I'd meet my mate& imprint.
Toady we are all heading to Forks where I along with Jasper, Rose, and Emmett are seniors while Edward and Alice are juniors.
"okay squirt who will you be riding with today?" Em says
I looked at him
"well giant I'm gonna ride with you and Rose" I say
he smiled
"well come on then" he says
I grabbed my things and followed him out the door.
"hey Lea" Rose greets already in Em's jeep
"Hi Rose" I greeted back as I climbed in the back.
"you ready for this year squirt?" Em asked
"honestly apart from meeting my mate and imprint no. but meeting him yes." I say
he laughed before he followed Edward.
we arrived and seen a truck that wasn't there before so I guess its the new girl that is also starting today.
"shit cant my mate have something alone. I haven't even met the newbie girl & I hate her already" I say
Em and Rose both laugh as we climbed out of the truck.
"you'll like her" Alice says
"I'd not bet on it. cause it we did I'd bet your whole new wardrobe that I'd win and resell" I say
she looked at me with her jaw dropped.
"fine you don't like her" she says
"didn't think so" I say before I grabbed my things and headed off inside.
the others follow shortly after and we all split going to our class. I have giant and Jas with me in my first couple of classes so it wont be a total bore.
By the time lunch rolled around I was already sick of hearing people gossip about the new girl. although one said she looks like a boy and dresses like one.
"Ok lets walk inside in pairs" Alice suggested
I looked at her weirdly just like Rose did.
"why?" Rose asked
she shrugged and for some damn reason they did just as she suggested.
I could hear Jessica talking to the newbie telling her who we are and what she labels us as.
After we all got to our table Jesica was still yammering on. but I wasn't focused on her cause when I looked up I seen the most beautiful man I've ever laid eyes on.
"Well there he is"
I didn't care who said what I was to lost at looking at my mate, my imprint.
"heavily tatted and has pricing. seriously. its ugly."
I snapped my head towards who ever said that and growled.
"I'm sorry but it is." Rose says
"well he's not for you so why worry about what he looks like" I say before I got up and walked over towards the door where my mate walked out of.
"Hi" I say
he turns and looks at me and gravity left having him take its place.
"I'm Leanna." I say walking up closer to him
"Elijah" he says
"just move here?" I asked
"a couple days ago but officially started Forks today" he says
"dealing with judgemental assholes?" I asked
He smiled while laughing.
"yeah" he says
"ignore them. they judge leaves and frogs for being how they are. if your not in their clique's then your shit talked" I tell him
"I noticed" he says
"so how are you liking Forks apart from the assholes?" I asked
"not bad. I mean its not hot or rediculous humidity like the last place I lived so its bareable"" he says
"I enjoy the rain mainly when it hits certain rooftops. its like a soothing lullby." I say
we continue walking and talking the rest of the school day. neither of us really paid any attention to what was happening around us.
"would you like to go out tonight?' he asked
"sure" I say
"geat. uh. I'm not sure about any good places to eat at so I'll leave that to you" he says
I smiled
"I know a place that has great burgers. as long as you don't mind the mess that comes with some of them" I say
"not at all" he says
"perfect" I say
"how does 6 sound?' he asked
"like a great night" I say
He smiled
I handed him my phone and he handed me his and we exchanged numbers before we had to go our separate ways.
I didn't care that I just met him I'm hopelessly in love.
I headed towards Rose, & Em.
"Hey what I said about his appearance I'm sorry I didn't know he was your mate and imprint til Alice told me" she says
"Regardless of that you shouldn't be so judgment. I mean honestly its such a Jessica thing" I say
she scuffed at that cause she can't stand Jessica.
we all got in the jeep and left.
