Chapter 9

Prithviraj's POV

I was looking at her gulping down the wine as she went on the dance floor with Rudra, only I know how I was controlling myself to not make a scene here. But when I saw that Rudra putting his hands around her waist while she was smiling to him that was it.

I made my way towards them with long strides and pulled her out of his hold making her back to hit on my chest. She turned her head to look at me and her tensed body relaxed a bit as she turned around slowly facing me.

I was looking at her with my intense gaze and I know she was getting afraid and nervous. I looked back at Rudra telling him that we are going to dance while he moved away from there glaring at me in particular.

I looked back at her in the eyes, snaking my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me, while her hand rested on my chest. As the song changed to BODY ON ME (by Rita Ora), raising the tension between us. I pulled her even more closer to me if possible, her chest pressing against mine while her hand were around my neck now.

"You're taking me there, you're taking me there
Our lips are barely touching

We could be on to something"

I leaned in as our forehead touched, her breath getting high. I moved near her ear my breath fanning over it and I could see goosebumps forming over there, I smirked seeing my effect on her as I slowly brushed my lips on her ear whispering, " You love annoying me, don't you Jaan", I could feel her questioning gaze as she opened her eyes hearing me and said stuttering in between, "Wh...what....??"

" You were enjoying dancing with him, huhh", I asked in my husky voice as I turned her now her back pressed against my chest, while I put my hands on her hips.

"Put you up against the wall
And I'ma go to work 'til you get off
Baby, soon as you're done we'll go some more
Girl, just imagine us"

I leaned into her neck planting soft butterflies kisses there while she clutched my hands and said breathing heavily, " Ra....Raj.." to which I just hummed closing my eyes too, her cheeks against mine now.

"I'm not asking for too much, put your fingertips on me
Don't wait 'til the sun's up, we can keep this in between
Us, only nobody has to know what's going down right now baby"

" You are mine" , I said biting her earlobe lightly to which she moaned leaning into my touch more making me to groan. " Who do you belong Jaan", I asked desperately, wine was doing its work so well as I was losing my control...." Who Jaan " , this time I asked huskily peppering kisses on her jaw." Y...yo..you", she said stuttering while my lips curved up. " Only mine", I said. " only yours", she whispered back and the song ended bringing us back to reality.

She turned around as I loosed my grip on her, looking into my eyes like she was searching for something, I smiled understanding her, taking her hands into mine I stepped a little closer to her staring back into her eyes intensely and declared, " I LOVE YOU, PRAGYA"...

I finally confessed, though I was not planning to confess this soon but she made me do this, the fear to lose her made me do this. I know she would have dreamt about a fairytale type of proposal and she deserves it but I couldn't control when I saw that fucker hands around her, it was making my blood boil.

She was looking at me with wide eyes, her lips parted a little which was pulling me towards them but I decided against it for now atleast.
" I really love you...Jaan" , I said again. I could see her eyes getting glassy, smiling to her softly I continued, "I know you didn't expect me loving you or you thinking that I am just joking around but No Jaan...I LOVE YOU and when I say I Love you I mean it, you would have imagined a big surprise proposal and you deserve it too but I couldn't wait anymore. I am sorry. I am not expecting you to love me back... yet. But I am just asking for a chance from you so that I could love you and tell you that what you mean to me. So Jaan...will you give this man a chance to love you", I asked looking into her eyes waiting for her to say something mentally praying for her to say yes...

" You won't leave me, right?  ", she asked as a tear slowly slipped down her eye. I brushed her tear off softly and said confidently, " You don't know what you mean to me Jaan, for once moon and earth can get separated but I will be with you till my heart is beating, even after this heart of mine stop beating I will come back for you...you will always find me right beside you Jaan...till the very end."

I completed while she hugged me tightly, her arms wrapped around around my neck as I too wrapped my hands around her waist hugging her back, my head resting on her head. She was sobbing as I could feel my shirt getting wet as I rubbed my hand against her back trying to calm her, my heartbeat was getting high with each passing second not knowing what will she answer. After a while she stopped sobbing still hugging me, her head rested on my chest and I know she could hear my high heartbeat. I wanted to ask her but was very afraid of her denial.

She removed her arms from my neck while I too removed my hands from her back and closed my eyes not wanting to face her denial this soon but my breath stuck when I heard her saying, "I too have loved you from the moment I saw you in Auli..Raj and will continue to love you and only you....TILL THE VERY END." she whispered into my ear and kissed my cheek making me to look at her with clear surprise as I was not expecting her loving me back. She smiled at me widely and I pulled her into a kiss kissing her passionately pouring all my love into it.
