Stan already regretted his stupid idea. They were sitting at the bar, him and Kyle next to each other and Wendy in front of him.

They ordered their food and drinks and before Stan could say anything Kyle and Wendy started talking about some English assignment they both needed to submit.

'Fucking straight A's students' he thought to himself, watching how passionately they were complaining about the professor's poor teaching skills.

He barely knew what the assignment was about, already having decided to complete it last minute: as always he would've asked Kyle to help him and he would've got his usual C+ which was more than enough for how much he cared.

'If Kyle still wants you as a friend after today' he couldn't help but think.

Doubts started flooding him, wondering if it was a good idea to carry on with his plan. In the worst-case scenario, Kyle ends up hating him and they never speak again.

It was unlikely: his friend was very accepting and never appeared to have problems with gay people, but still, it was different when someone was confessing to you. He wondered if it would've led his friend to cut ties with him. It probably wouldn't, but it being an option was enough to make him nervous.

Before he could overthink anymore, the waitress was back with her stuff. She handed Stan his coffee and his slice of cake, while Kyle got a milkshake and both the girls had some sort of smoothie.

He took a bite of the cake and then offered it to Kyle: "Do you wanna taste it?". He accepted, a bit confused, while Bebe glared at him with so much hate he worried he was going to catch on fire or something.

Wendy sighed, thinking to herself how dumb the boy was. He was supposed to pretend to be on a date with her and couldn't act in the slightest.

He realized and tried to fix it, asking the girl "So Wendy, what.. have you been up to lately?".

'What kind of dumbass asks that?'

She smiled. "Nothing much, just studying and fighting with Cartman because he wanted to start a fundraising to 'ban gingers from South Park'. He still hasn't changed after like ten years".

"He's seriously still trying?" Kyle laughed, stirring his milkshake "Oh my god, he really does get dumber with age".

"You should beat him up again like you did in fourth grade Wendy- it was hilarious. He cried himself to sleep for at least two months'' added Stan, now a little less tense.

"Yeah, do you remember how hard he tried to avoid the fight? So pathetic".

They were all laughing at Bebe's comment, remembering that day when Cartman took a shit on Mr. Garrison's desk to avoid getting his ass beaten.

"What about you, Stan?" said Wendy while drinking her smoothie.

"I've been helping Kenny organize his anniversary surprise for Marj. That asshole has been working on it for like two weeks and keeps calling me over to help".

"They're both using it as an excuse to not study" added Kyle, receiving back a slight punch on his shoulder.

"Obviously" said Wendy, chuckling.

"I can't believe they've been dating for almost a year. It feels like yesterday they got together" replied Bebe.

They all remembered clearly helping Kenny and Marj confess to each other. The boys came up with a really complicated plan for the date (and convinced Kenny not to ask her out by writing it with fire in her garden), while the girls helped Marjorine get ready and made her learn how to flirt and "seduce" the boy.
