Luffy's POV

The next day

I was walking down the town streets, filled with a bunch of people. Usopp and Nami beside me, I groaned feeling like I was being babysat by them.

"Please, stay with us this time, Luffy."

Usopp said with an annoyed tone. 

I faked a smile and smugly put up a thumbs up.

"We're serious  Luffy, if you explore alone again, you are destined to be recognized. This kingdom has high security and they don't allow pirates!"

Nami added, grabbing me by the back of my collar aggressively.

"Nami, okay okay! I'm get it, you don't have to resort to violence, and besides who would recognize us anyways??"

I shrieked as I felt her pull my ear.

"ANYONE STUPID, WE ARE INFAMOUS!"

"OW OW!"

.....

Walking further down the streets, I started to see many food stands come into view. About maybe, 10 people each were at each stand. My stomach growled, and my eyebrows knitted together. 

Groaning in hunger, I felt drool drip from my mouth as I saw a stand which sold fried squid. 

"Hungeryyyyyyyyyyyy..."

I whine. 

I hear Nami sigh as she grabs my arm. 

"Come on, we'll buy you some."

....

Eating my seven sticks of fried squid, I felt a huge smile crept on my face. Grease and sauce was splattered around my mouth. 

"So goodddddd!"

Suddenly, I heard a group of people gathering around a spot, in front of a..wall? Raising my eyebrow and stuffing my mouth, I turn to look at my fellow crew, who was also giving me a confused look. 

Curiousity took over me and I practically ran towards the commotion. 

Usopp and Nami behind me, I looked up to see some kind of poster? It read "The Youngest Princess's Birthday Ceremony, Dress Nice, All Citizens invited." And it stated that this 'princess' was turning 19.  I hummed, stuffing my mouth with the last stick of fried squid.

Turning around, I gestured to Nami and Usopp to get away from the crowd, they nodded and we walked off.

Showing my huge and wide smile, I started to jump up and down. 

"Can we pleaseeeeeee go, it seems so fun!! There is probably gonna be tons and tons of food there!!"

Nami shrugged, giving me a small smile back. 

"Sure, I mean we nothing else better to do."

"Yeah, it seems cool, let's go to it."

Usopp added with a small smile of his own. 

"YOSH! LET'S TELL THE REST OF THE CREW! IT'S TOMORROW NIGHT, SO LET'S HURRY !!!"

I screamed, running away from my crewmates towards the ship.

"Wait! Luffy! Damn it."

Your POV

Laying in my bed, I feel anger and frustration rise inside of me. 

Dried tears on my face, I stare up at the ceiling. Admiring the hand - painted flower designs. In my mind, I couldn't help but think about my life and life choices and how I ended up here. 

The biggest thought was...what was going to be my future?? Was I really just gonna be a arranged wife and mother to a man I don't love and his kids?

All of this came crashing down onto my heart again and I started to sob once more. I was never ever gonna be happy, right? It's just so damn distracting to be happy, right? It's just the way and tradition, isn't it?

Wiping away my tears, I started to think of Luffy. 

Luffy...I'm sorry for leaving you behind like that, I really am.....I hope you're okay and not that mad at me....

Turning to the side, I let myself accept my situation. Depression slowly took over my mind, and thoughts rushed in, making it impossible for me to sleep a wink. 

I felt so helpless and so...unhappy. 

But I accepted. I accepted my arranged life. 

I can't change it, so there's no point in complaining. This is what I get for being born royalty and being too adventurous...I should've just kept my mind inside of the castle...and be corporative like sister....then maybe then Mother and Father would have loved me more....

My head hurts...I might as well go to sleep...

Please God, please don't let me wake up again, I just wanna sleep forever, please take me to heaven where it's peaceful and get me out of this nightmare...please..
