The day of her birthday

Chapter 1 - what's happening?

Here is chapter 1 sorry for updating very late I will try my best to update sooner...

Before I start with the chapter I want to say a few things
1) flashbacks and dreams will be written in italic
2) This book contains all type of superaturals
3) werewolves, in this story do not have anything such as mates or anything as heat
4) Moreover this book includes romance but not mature content

so lets do this....

Chapter 1..... What's happening?

" Turn...turn...hmm.." Karmen muttered, pinching Patricia's short red white, black and pink mini dress's waist.

" You've lost weight Ricia " Kim declared

" Yeah, that's a miracle " Ricia retorted

" Darling you look, gorgeous! "

Twirling in tne dress, Ricia glanced at the mirror in wonder. Her fave had been transformed into something spectacular. Gloss shone on her lips, her carefully lined violet blue eyes popped out.

Out of the corner of her eyes, Kim looked just as wonderful, a long loose peach dress, reaching the floor.

" You look lovely too" Ricia whispered

" Oh, hun... this is your night, have fun, might as well enjoy with the boys " Kim teased

" Whoa.." Ricia rolled her eyes, knowing exactly what Kim meant

A knock on the door interrupted from their make up session, " Ricia, are you done yet? Cecily has arrived "  Iona, her mother shouted from the top of her lungs to make herself heard from outside the room.

" Come in mum and let Cecy in too." Patricia said, but only Cecily entered, her mother went to complete the rest of the arrangements before 7.

" Happy birthday, any help guys?"

" No, almost done" kim and patricia said together immediately adding " jinx " karmin was applying red lip gloss and winged eyeliner carefully.

"Done" kim said once she finished.

" What's this? " Cecy asked eying  the mark on Patricia's collarbone.

" A birthmark " she responded casually

With one last glance at the mirror, the three of them fled the room, heading downstairs. loud music vibrated through the house, everything was most likely set, but people are supposed to come at seven. One hour to go. They weren't surprised when they saw Matt, Raymond and Jake downstairs, they were friends since high school.

The boys wished her a happy birthday as the headed towards the living room. they sat on the circular sofa as the four of them gave their gifts to start opening them. Her reached towards Cecily's gift first but then her vision blurred, the world faded into specks of black and white and voices echoed in the depths of her mind... screaming... shouting...and....

* vision *

Out of the corner of her eye, dark colors emerged, the flickering image portrayed a picture of a house, although it wasn't hers. The moving of the door knob caught her attention, through the door entered a young woman in her mid-20s, with long blonde hair braided neatly on the side. By her side was a laughing child about four years old, her reddish brown hair reached her shoulder and the her blue eyes shined like a star in the night.

 " Mama," the child wailed tugging the end of the women's coat. " Yes, ricie" the lady replied taking of her coat and hat, placing them on the stand right in front of her.

As Patricia waited patiently to see what will happen next. all of a sudden there was a sharp pain around Patricia's neck. the image evaporated into the thin air... lost in the darkness.

* end of vision*

Patricia's eyes fluttered open, her head was spinning yet she was able to focus on what was happening around her she apologized after she examined their faces. Carmen twitched an eyebrow, she suddenly sensed something powerful coming from her and yet she doesn't know what is it.

Carmen was very good in lying, she hid the fact that she wasn't human for the past few years. Patricia after convincing the that she was fine, they proceeded on opening the gifts. their presents were great, a bag, perfume, a headphone and a silver necklace that she really liked when she was shopping.

Her head ache was very strong to handle so she made for herself coffee for her and the others. half-way though her cup her vision blurred again, this time she say the same lady and a girl in a different scenario:

They were in a room and another small girl that shared her mother's blond hair and about a year younger than Ricie. " hey sis" Ricie paused and then said " Cassie what's wrong?" Cassie answered after a long time " Something seem off about mum and dad. "

With that the vision dissolved into nothing.

5 minutes later her friends started arriving, one by one. the enjoyed the party and she tried her best not to think her visions or hallucinations. Whatever it was....
