Me: "It's 3 in the fucking morning. Theodore, speak or I'll ring your neck out to dry like my laundry."

Theo: "My mom got sick, like real bad. She's in the ER right now and sadly she's in a different state."

Me: "Yeah, so? I WAS going to binge the anime you're always begging me to watch. What is it? Primary Treasure?"

Me: "Whatever. When will the monsters arrive?"

Theo: "Around 8 am."

Tossing my phone back onto the bedside drawer, I slam my head back onto my pillow in frustration.

I mentally prepare myself for the bullshit that's going to happen this weekend before going to sleep.
