I woke up with an ache in my text, found a text from Ravi and an empty bed.

I knew Ravi was here last night, I can still smell him. He was sleeping beside me.

But now he's gone.

You're not dating him. I remind myself.

Then why did he sleep beside me?

Why did he make me tea?

Why-

I stop these thoughts, I don't want to date Ravi. It's absurd, I think someone like him doesn't even date.

But is he using me for my body then?

If we're not dating then is that what he is doing?

Fuck this, I'm not doing whatever I and Ravi have been doing, I need to back out of this whole thing.

I'll tell him this needs to stop.

"Hey, I've seen these clothes before." Avni says, looking at my outfit.

Shit, they are her clothes, Ravi gave them to me last night.

"Listen, the thing is, Sarika spent the night with someone! She was missing in the morning!" Nikita exclaims.

"Really?" Shanaya asks.

"N-no." I say.

"Liar. You did." Nikita says.

"Who is it?" Avni asks with a smile.

"No fucking one."

"She had a hickey the other day too."

"Oohhh.." Shanaya and Avni sing, and I think I'm getting a headache.

Nikita has not let that hickey thing die down.

"Wait till Vedant finds out!" Nkkita says, laughing.
"What will happen if he does?" Avni asks.

"He'll make the guy wish he never laid eyes on his sister," nikita tells them and she's being a little extra.

I open my phone

Crazy: Tonight, same place.

I've decided not to indulge in him anymore.

Sarika: No.
Crazy: Fox, I don't want to come there and make you come with me.
Sarika: No, I won't come. Not today, not ever.
Crazy: As you wish.

He doesn't write anything after that, and I'm sure he's finding ways to get me to come to that house.

"Hey, also did you here Prof Whitsby has transferred. " Shanaya says.

Holy shit. That was not Ravi, was it?

"Is he alive?" I ask.

The three of them look at me.

"Why will he not be alive?"

"Uhm, I just, my mind's just going crazy today."

"She's too busy thinking about her mystery guy." Shanaya snickers.

After class, we deside to take a walk in the forest, because we're crazy.

"I love the forest." Avni sighs.

"I don't. " Nikita says.

And Shanaya's quiet.

We walk around, and Avni tells us some weird shit about some ghost living here, and that story attracts Nikita a lot. Me and Shanaya are just bidding time.

"Why are you guys here?"

We see Vijay standing in midst of the trees, emerging from the darkness, as if he's the one darkness is coming from.

His dark jet black hair is styled perfectly and his hands are in his pockets. He is very muscly.

"Just walking.." Avni says.

"Avni, go back to the campus."

Avni runs from there.

Vijay's eyes narrows in on me and Nikita.

"We were just leaving, " I say, pulling Nikita with me, and leaving Shanaya with Vijay.

"Poor Shanaya, stuck with that cruel guy." Nikita comments.

"Nikita you go ahead, I want to stay outside."

I know Ravi is going to pull some shit and I want Nikita far away from here when that happens.

"Why?"

I need her to go.

"I'm meeting my secret boyfriend."

Her eyes shine with mischief and she walks away, wiggling her eyebrows. I sigh, waiting for Ravi to show up, and I know he will.

I watch my phone in meantime, and check my texts.
