Devoted

Morning

I open my eyes to the sun shining in from my window, yellow lights up the walls of my bedroom. I look around to see a big white marble fireplace with my tv on top. I look to the side to see my black night stand  and reach for my phone. There was a text from tony
🐀 : "hey cece wanna go out for coffee?"
"Ya sure let me get ready and I'll meet you in 15"
🐀: "ok sounds good"

I lie back down not wanting to step onto the cold floor seeing as I only have one slipper. After a few minutes of debating on what to do I slide the slipper on one foot and hop around to my dresser.

I go into the sock drawer and pull out my fuzzy socks with blue flowers and slide them on.

After that there's a loud knock that scares the shit out of me. I jump and walk over to the door

"What the hell" I mutter to myself I open the door to see my two older brothers with a shit eating grin on their face which pisses me off even more.

"Hey there grumpy pants how's your morning going" my oldest brother says.

I have two brothers both ass holes, deep down I love them a lot but I would go to hell and back before I admit that to their  faces.

They're twins Carlo and romain, romain is older by two minutes and always mentions in some way how he's the oldest out of us kids and thinks he's the best because he inherits dads business when he grows older.

Romain is entitled, assertive, responsible, a rule follower and definitely a mommy's boy.

Carlo on the other hand is funny, attention seeking, rule breaking and gets jealous easily.

They are both 20 turning 21 in the fall and I'm only 19, they have dark brown hair, both tall even though Carlo is taller which bugs romain especially when I call him a short king.

But I can't help teasing them back especially when they tease me ALL of the time. So I knew when I saw these two at my door they were up to no good.

"Bad now that you're here" I respond with annoyance and attitude in my tone "what do you two shit stains want anyway? Don't you have to go kiss mom's ass?"

They both laugh it off and I do to "easy there tiger" Carlo says "we just came up to mention breakfast is ready"

"Is that all" I say I rudely as I can to make my point to go away across the

"No, no it's not actually" romain says

"Mom and dad have some... great news to tell you"

They both start cackle laughing and I know shits going down and these two are just loving watching the drama start to unfold.

"If you do cackling witches are done my breakfast is getting cold" I go to shove by them but an arm stops me

Before I know it I turn around to see romain holding me down and Carlo spitting on his finger and shoving it in my ear

"Oh you've got to be shitting me" I yell

"Wet Willy" they both laugh at me and runaway before I can go get my one slipper and beat them both with it

I jog down the stairs almost tripping a few times because I'm the clumsiest person on earth and when I finally make it down I freeze hearing my name get called

"Charlotte darling" my mother calls "finish your breakfast and come to the office, we have a important matter we need to discuss"

Now i know it's bad if both my parents are calling me into the office for a meeting. I freeze unable to move that can only mean a few things
