Chapter 1 - the McDonald's

Garfield POV (again):

I made it to the McDonald's, sweaty and tired

I was panting as I opened the door (as exercise isn't my thing)

And went to order my food, everything on the menu, specially the new McDonalds lasagna.

As I sat down with all my food, I noticed a bird sitting across from my table. 

He had green feathers and a Little yellow beak

And big dark grey eyes.

He sat alone, eating a 20 piece Chicken McNuggets share box by himself.

Duolingo POV:

As I was eating my food, I saw a chubby orange cat with everything on the menu.

I was surprised a cat could eat so much in one sitting, and almost impressed

Back to Garfield pov:

I decided to go over to the green bird, he seemed alone after all.

"Hey, may if I sit here?" I said, taking my huge tray of food with me

"Sure, i do someone to talk to" the green bird chirped (god was his voice lovely)

"Well, I'm Garfield, and you are?" I introduced myself to the bird

"Duolingo, but you can call me Duo"

I knew that name, my owner Jon said he was using this app named "Duolingo" to learn Spanish

"You mean the Duolingo, from the app my owner Jon uses?"

"Yup, it's me, Duolingo!" The bird chirped again

Wowie, never thought I would meet another celebrity in a McDonald's

"Weren't you that cat from those silly comics?, Garfield is it called?" He questioned

"Yeah, I am " I felt my cheeks slightly blush, making them a pinkish orange

"Wow!, looks like we're both Famous!" Duo said with a smile "Hey, wanna swap numbers?" 

"Sure" I said, giving him my number on a piece of paper

After that, we talked for hours, while finishing our food

After finishing, I went back to Jon's home with duo's number in my pocket

Laying on my bed, sleeping with a full stomach
