RIGHT TIME WRONG PERSON?

Amara was completely shocked when Niko asked her to marry him..yes she did feel something for him but she was confused..and 17. Technically 18 in two days but she couldn't marry him..right? She also felt bad because she ran off without giving him an answer.

TWO DAYS LATER (AMARA's BIRHTDAY)

It was currently 3:46 AM and Amara was laying in her room..she couldn't sleep much so she decided to scroll on social media and look back at all her previous birthdays. She was always happy and surrounded by family and friends and it seems she has neither here in Italy. Niko told her they would fly back to New York today and Amara wasn't excited because that meant she would be locked in his mansion all day everyday. "No i don't care Fabiano..I can't do this right now." she heard a voice whisper in the hallway, naturally curious she got up to see who it was.

It was Kali and Fabiano arguing..does anyone in the mafia ever sleep? Amara slipped on a over-sized shirt which happened to be Niko's and walked into the hallway "Is everything okay?" she asked. Kali quickly turned around "everything is fine.." she said rudely. Amara nodded and then made her way down the stairs, she needed some air. she stepped out back and let the cool breeze hit her "I don't mean to be an asshole but if your gonna fuck a mafia boss you gotta have balls babe." Kali said standing in the doorway. Amara scoffed "i'm not fucking anyone in the mafia." she said. Kali finally stood beside her and then lit her blunt "then why the fuck are you here.." she asked Amara. "maybe you should ask your boss that" Amara said walking towards the door but then she stopped and turned around she walked to Kali and said "and honestly it's none of your business..i think you just need to focus on taking orders like a the good little dog you are."

The words that came out of Amara's mouth were unexpected but she was sick of people treating her however they wanted..it was time for her to start biting back. But Kali was also the same way "excuse me bitch?!" she yelled. "you heard me...bitch." Amara replied and then Kali grabbed Amara by her hair and pulled her knife holding it to her throat.. "LET ME GO WHAT THE FUCK!" Amara screamed trying to get out of Kali's hold. Her scream woke the whole house up but Kali didn't care "listen here you spoiled bitch..i don't care who your fucking but your gonna learn to respect me of all people!" She said warning her. Amara took a deep breath and then remebered what Niko had taught her a few days before. She took her elbow and hit Kali as hard as she could in her stomach causing her to loosen her grip on Amara's hair. Amara hit her again but his time disarming her..once the third blow hit Kali in the nose she got dizzy and fell. Amara stood there shocked and when Niko came rushing out back Amara looked up at him "i'm sorry..i was just trying to defend myself." She said defensively.

"Get dressed and pack your stuff..we leave in a hour." Niko said looking at Amara. She hurriedly walked passed him and upstairs to her room. Once she closed the door she finally let out her tears. Everyone she meets treats her like shit and when she finally stands up for herself she's in the wrong. With tears running down her face she quickly put her stuff back into her suitcase and changed into a all black jumpsuit and layered it with a oversized sweater and her platform uggs.
She wiped her tears and put her hair in two messy braids and headed downstairs.

When she made it down the stairs Niko was waiting.. "I'm ready." Amara said trying not to sound sad. Niko looked up from his phone and saw Amara but she seemed sad "Amara?" He said but she just walked past him to the car. "Amara!" He said grabbing her arm. "We aren't leaving until you talk to me." He said still holding on to her arm. "Let me go..I don't have to tell you anything." She said pulling away from him.

The ride to the airport was quiet..Amara had put her headphones in and sketch the entire time. And once on the jet she sat away from Niko and ignored him. "Boss we have a problem." Phoenix said as the Jet landed. The runway was covered in police. "Shit.." Niko said. "Call my lawyer and let him know what's going on." He said making his way towards Amara. He took her headphones off "I know you don't wanna talk to me but I need you to listen to me..when we get off this plane the cops will probably arrest me and take you into custody...but no matter what they say..I love you." He explained slipping the ring on her finger.

Amara nodded and then kissed him and the two walked off the Jet hand in hand. "Amara Hale I'm gonna need you to come with me." A woman said as two officers put Niko into handcuffs. "Where are you taking my fiance?!" Amara asked as the Agent put her in the back of a car.

FBI HEADQUARTERS
"Amara.. your mother has been worried sick about you." The agent said but Amara wasn't listening she was zoned out..she was worried about Niko. She knew he could hold his own but she still worried. "Niko took you to Italy against your will." The woman said. Amara knew she needed to toughen up. "No he didn't! I wanted to go! Me and him are getting married..we love each other!" She said defensively. The agent nodded "would someone who loves you do that to you?" She said pointing to the bruise on Amara's arm.

Yes Niko had done it but not on purpose.."he didn't mean to." Amara said putting her sweater back on. "He killed your father..who was just trying to protect you and then sent his men to threaten your mother." The agent said placing pictures of her father's body on the table.

Amara tried her best to hold back her tears. There was a knock on the interview door and it was another agent "we are done here"a man said entering the room. It was Nikos lawyer and Niko was close behind "if your done harassing me and my wife we would like to go home now please." Niko said grabbing Amara's hand. She immediately stood up and hugged him.

"My clients are innocent..and as for Amara..her mother was abusing her..and threatened to kill her..I know her age you may not approve but she is a legal adult." The lawyer said leaving his card on the table. Amara walked out of the room with Niko..hand in hand. They did have a strange relationship but they really did love each other.
