Giovannas pov: "this project will require the both of you to do it at home so I'd suggest to start working on it today after school. Also it is due in 2 weeks so please be mindful of the time you're spending on it."
Was all he said before sitting down on his chair.

"What are the odds of us being partners, huh." I said teasingly. Katherine playfully rolled her eyes at me and just sighed handing me her phone. I furrowed my eyebrows completely confused.

"Well if we're going to do a project together, we're obviously going to need each others numbers dumbass." She said in a duh tone.

"Oh right." I put my digits in her phone with the contact name as "best 🐱 eater" and handed it back to her. "I doubt that's even true." She said grabbing my phone and putting hers in. "Tryna find out?" I said smirking. "Nah."

I looked at her contact name and saw "kat✨" I don't know why but the fact she put kat instead of Katherine brought a smile to my face. "Damn I got you smiling already." She said teasingly. "Never that."
I said smirking witch a head shake.

We talked for a while then it was time to go, we agreed on starting our project today after school at her house because 8th period was always free and out lazy asses didn't wanna do shit.

The rest of the day went by slower than usual. I don't know if it's because I was eager to be able to talk to Katherine but, I just wanted it to be 8th period already. I don't know why but something about kat was different than every other girl I'd ever talk to. Her pretty brown eyes made me melt at just the thought of them and it was a scary feeling.

I walked into my lady period with Katherine and made my way to my seat. Usually she'd be late because she was too busy talking with her ass hole boyfriend but today she was sitting there first. "Damn you that eager to see me?" I said smirking.
"Shut up, I just want to fix my attendance."
She said playfully rolling her eyes at me.

"Sure." I teased dragging the e. "Anyways, so tell me about yourself." She said analyzing my features. Or at least that's what I thought she was doing, because she was paying close attention to every part of my face right now. "What do you want to know?" I asked with a small laugh.

"I don't know just tell me Anything." She said laying her chin on her hand. "Well, I love Dominican food it's amazing. I listen to music like 99% of the time and my favorite color is red." I said trying to figure out what else to say about myself but my mind went blank. Damn this shit was hard.

"There must be more." She said softly.
"There is my brains just tweaking right now and I can't remember shit about myself." I said laughing. "Gotta lay off the weed." She said laughing along. "What about yourself?" I asked her, trying to know as much as I can about her. "What do you want to know?" She said mocking me.

"Anything." I said mocking her as well. "Im an only child, I love fashion. My birthday is June 19th, my favorite color is pink and violet, and , I love Mexican food." She said exaggerating the last part.

"Eh Mexican is alright." I said trying to tease her. "shut up, it's definitely more than alright." She said rolling her eyes. "Your kinda right." I said smirking.

After that we had a conversation about aliens and just random ass shit. We agreed to go together to her house so we could finish this project as fast as possible.

We were heading to our cars talking when Gabriel went up to Katherine looking infuriated. "Where the fuck where you?! I've been waiting for you at my cat for the past 8 minutes." He yelled at her but only loud enough for the three of us to hear as he didn't want to cause a scene in the parking lot that was filled with teenagers.

"I texted you that I was going to Giovannas House because we have a project together." She said with fear in her eyes. The sight made me blood boil so I separated them because they were far too close for her safety. "Yo chill we have a project together I said looking at him straight in the eyes."

He looked me up and down and just scoffed. "Text me when your done with your stupid project." He said walking off.
"The fuck is his problem." I said paying close attention to him walking off.
"Don't worry about it, let's just go." She said clearing her throat clearly uncomfortable.

She rode to her house in her car and I did in my car. On the drive there I thought alot about what just happened. Did he usually talk to her like that kr possibly even worse? The look in her eyes was full of fear. That asshole didn't deserve such an amazing girl

We arrived at Katherine's house. it was only like 10 minutes away from mine but it was definitely alot mor big and beautiful. it looked like those houses off movies. I knew she was loaded but not that fucking loaded.
"Fuck, your house is huge." I said smiling at the big house in front of me as I got out my car and Katherine approached me.

"Yeah but it's so lonely in there. My parents are constantly working but they try to be home as much as they possibly can." She said smiling at me. "What do they work for? So, I can know what to do in the future." I said looking at her with a serious expression. "My mom's a doctor and my dads a lawyer." She said opening her door.

We rushed to her bedroom and took everything out. "Honestly I really don't feel like working on this project." She said looking at me. "me neither I'll probably just get Jake to do it for like 200 bucks." I said yawning. Suddenly I felt Katherine's eyes get darker and she was staring at my lips.

"Do you want to play truth or dare?" She asked.
