The chilly winds grazed jungkook's face, pushing back his fluffy bangs as his shoulder length, brown hair blew whilst he stood gazing the sea. The winds were just a step away to blow away any human, but jungkook stood firm on his feet. His determined eyes, glistened in tears. But the seperation is way better than your death. Your life matters more.
I'm worthless anyways.
That's what he thought. Never in his life, he did anything for anyone but today is the day which he could be greatly proud of. Even if they lock his soul under the water for ever, he'd be satisfied that he saved the love of his life.
Even though, he withers from the pain of not being able to atleast admire you from afar if not to be with you. He'd happy. Even if he has to cry all day in pain, he'll just clutch his heart and feel you there, always beating in his heartbeats.
Not all the love stories have a happy ending. Oh, wait, is it even a love story , in the first place? One sided love would be a better name.
I'm not good enough for her anyways.
Jungkook sighed, feeling anxious and weak but just then an image of your dead body lying pale on the bed shakes his soul up.
I'd rather die than to witness that again.
Taking a deep breath, he spreads his arms and closed his eyes. The glittery golden rings formed around his body and he was slowly lifted off the sand. Jungkook opened his eyes when he was stable in the air.
His casual clothes ripped off of his body and instead wrapped in a white, full length cotton robe. A tiara made with white flowers on his head.
The clouds roared when he fisted his palms and the winds could be heard. He opened his eyes and looked up in the dark sky. Taking in another deep breath of courage.
" I, The Prince of the prestigious and holy land of immortals, eternal land, with all the faith and truth in my heart, summons the Goddess of Death, KERES "
The clouds thundered as a response and a bright lightening tears the clear night sky. The same lightening left a trail of thousands of black butterflies which formed themselves as a human figure.
Solidifying themselves, they formed a monstrous figure of a lady in clothes black than the midnight, ugly scars and blood on her uneven face. Long hair falling back. She way everything that could scare every single soul.
But jungkook was unbothered enough to not even blink his eyes.
Soon an ugly and high pitched laugh echoed in the surrounding.
" Did You summon me? Prince, Jeon." Keres laughed evilly.
Jungkook stared at her with stony and blank eyes.
" I'm here to trade. I want to save a dearest someone who's dead." Jungkook said making the latter smirk.
" You already know the rules, Prince. Is it wise to spend your life chained under a river just for an immortal?" Keres laughed again considering jungkook the stupidest person.
Jungkook's face remained poker.
" Take away everything, put me in the water or burry me alive under the ground, just cure her. "
" As you wish, Prince. But remember, whatever I do, remained unchanged. It's the first and last time that we're meeting. I just trade once. " She rotated her wrists preparing for a strike.
Jungkook nodded. " Will she be alive again? My Princess?" He bit his lips, still unsure.
Ceres laughed aloud, throwing her head back like the devil she is. She shrugged making jungkook pinch his brows together and clench his law. She's really deprived of any kind of emotions.
