"It hurts when you realize
You're not as important as you thought
You gave your all, but they still shed no tears
Their indifference, a lesson you've been taught
You thought your bond was unbreakable
But now it seems to have crumbled
It hurts when you realize
You weren't as important as you thought
But remember, dear heart, you still matter
You're enough, even without their patter
Hold your head high, don't let their indifference define you
You are important, no matter who else sees the truth."
