A blue exorcist fanfic bc why not?

The first actual day of class.

NORA SESEMI POV:

I stretch as I look around. It's early, and quiet. I look at the clock, and my eyes widen.

"Oh no. Oh no no no no no no no NO."

I'm late. 25 minutes late.

I jump out of bed and land softly on my feet I run towards the closet and grab the uniform.

"Why didn't my alarm go off?!?!"

I keep scolding myself as I dress and grab my phone, and check my alarms.

"I NEVER SET IT?!?!?!"

I grab my books and homework as I stuff it in my bag, still being careful about my papers. I put my backpack on, brush my hair, and sigh. I then rush out the door, heading to Anti-Demon Pharmacology. I rush down the hallway as I notice Rin rushing down as well.

"RIN?!"

He looks at me with a surprised look.

"NORA?!?!"

We both rushed through the door as Rin acted as if nothing happened. His nervous smile was pierced into a frown as Mr. Okumura eyed him down. He then looked at me, and I try to catch my breath. I raise my hand, and sit next to Rin.

"Late, the both of you?" Yukio says, in a slight unsurprised tone. 

I nodded, still out of breath.

"You didn't wake me up!" Rin yelled.

Yukio slammed the desk.

Everyone went quiet.

"Just get your work out and stop complaining over the smallest things! I will talk to the both of you after class! Now, get your things out!"

I nodded fast, feeling bad. Rin hesitated, then got his books out.

Yukio nodded, and faced towards the chalkboard.

I heard a few whispers.

"New girl's late eh?"

"Shut it. You don't got a chance."

"Bon, you never know!"

"I'ma talk to her after class."

"No, your going to your next class."

I sigh, walking up to Mr. Okumura's desk.

"My homework..." I murmured.

Yukio nodded, taking it.

"Thank you," Yukio said in a calm voice.

I went back next to Rin, who clearly didn't do his homework with his surprised expression.

"What?"

He shook his head, then looked towards the chalkboard.

"Oh, nothing.."

I nodded as I studied the notebook.

"Alright. Today, we will continue learning about different demons in your textbooks."

Yukio glared at Rin.

"I-I have it!" Rin said, nervously.

He searched his bag over and over, but it wasn't there. Yukio sighed.

"I thought I grabbed it!" Rin murmured.

Yukio walked up to Rin with an extra copy of the textbook.

"Take it. Give it back at the end." Yukio went back to the board.

Rin frowned, opening the book.

As Mr. Okumura started to teach the lecture, I could hear slight snoring, and others laughing.

Rin was sleeping.

I hit his arm as her woke up.

"Shh! Follow along!" I said before he could say anything.

Rin nodded.

Yukio finished his lecture and everyone was packing up.

"And don't forget, we have a test on different types of demons tomorrow, so don't forget to study!"

We all walked outside as everyone studied their schedules. Except Rin.

"We have a test tomorrow.." Rin said.

I smiled, putting my hand on his shoulder.

"We can study, if you want."

Rin shrugged, and Yukio passed by.

"You should study. Gives you more time from you sleeping."

I laughed lightly, and Rin nudged my arm.

"I still would of been sleeping if you didn't wake me up. Thanks."

Yukio smiled.

"Go to your dorms, both of you."

And we headed back to our dorms.
