Peach Lake Camp

I live down the street from Peach Lake Camp and would walk to the general store in town called Peach County General store to get groceries and other stuff then when it came to walking to school Tammy and Rose would walk with me Tammy lived next door to me on my left side and Rose lived next door to me on my right side and this guy i had my sights set on lived across the street from me and i walked over to Peach Park a lot and had picnics there i would also cook on the grill hot dogs or hamburgers whatever i was in the mood to cook i know the are camp which was peace lake camp had a violent history and there were all kinds of murders there but one day they had some things going on in the afternoon every afternoon in the summer they let you play bingo and musical chairs and had a buffet for lunches and dinners everyday cause there were some people that would stay for weeks and days or all summer long they would also have ring toss and you can swim they also taught swimming lessons but i heard a story about a boy his name was Joshua when he was 6 yrs old he drowned in Peach Lake i thought that was really creepy but did not think anything of it then i seen a pic of this guy wearing a hockey mask and something like a jumpsuit out in the camp at night which i was so freaked out so i ignored it then since one of the campers was having a birthday they were serving white cake with white frosting and light blue icing with light blue icing roses on it a lot with light green leaves and we also had ice cream then we also had chips along with hot dogs all day long all i thought about was that guy in the hockey mask i wondered what his story was along with his history then i grabbed this book it said it was written by Melanie Voorhees which was his mother she said his name was Joshua and there were pics in the book of what he looked like he was deformed so he had down syndrome  then i was walking home and omg that guy was outside so i went over to talk to him since he lived on Peach Lake a lot longer then i have i asked him about Josh and his mom Melanie then he told me the whole history i was so shocked i explained to him i go to Camp Peach Lake every afternoon for things to do i will never spend the night so he told me i should be ok the guy usually comes out at night from what the legend is around here near the lake where he drowned by now i was so freaked out i told him Im Cathie Cordelia then i asked me if i could come with him then we went to Dandy's Diner he ordered us both 2 sandwiches with chips i got Dr.Pepper and he got Mountain Dew we talked for the longest time then he drove me home we kissed good night i was in love for sure so i went home and did my homework sometimes the camp starts early with activities  then i went to bed early got up and got ready for school then walked with Tammy and Rose i was telling both of them about Josh and she said Yep the town legend i pulled up a picture of Melanie she was pretty then i found this pic of them together the bottom picture is the latest picture i found of Josh when i was doing research in the library under microfilm i was so freaked out but continued to ignore it cause i told myself that Josh was only a fictional legend that he does not exist around here and never has then one night when i was walking home from the library and of course my mistake i went in the woods it was really dark outside no lights anywhere so i tried to run as fast as i could but i saw something oh no up ahead no way it can't possibly be but it was oh no it was im toast unless i get out of here then i ran so fast i ran right to Matt's house then i talked to him about what i saw then he told me now take a deep breathe and keep calm then took me under his wing we went for a drive then for a long walk we were listening to the radio a newsman said they captured Joshua and his mom then took them to a hospital and locked them up eventually Matt and I got married we lived happily ever after
