My Valentine Date [Luca x Shu]

Ch4

<<Shu's POV>>
I sat at the coffee cafe while waiting for my friends. Its been a while since I last speak to them.

"Here is your coffee." My childhood friend, Claude said which startled me making me almost fall down the chair. He takes my hands in his cold hands and keeps apologising to me.

"Claude, its okay." I laughed and rubbing circles on his hands.

"But if I were to be careful enough then you would not jumped out from your seat." I heard him laugh. 'This person.'

"Are you laughing at me?" I couldn't help laughing with him.

"Hello loves." I heard Zali's voice next to my ears making me startled again. This time I found my a$$ on the floor.

"Zali!" These people always like this. I helped myself on the chair since both of them busy laughing.

"Sorry Shu." They both hugs me tight. I feel a soft smooch on my cheek and I heard a following slaps around me.

"Zali.. how could you." I heard Claude whispers. To be crazy about it, I know they both like each other. Albeit both of them seems to hide it.

"What's with all the chaos?" I heard Pomu's voice next to my face again. It almost send me into surprised again.

"Pomu.." I furrowed my eyebrows, waiting for an explanation.

"Okay dude. Relax." Pomu said to me and I got a soft smooch on my cheek again. "Shu is so cute."

"Guys.. He is married." I got attacked by kisses later on.

"Muahhh." They making a sound of kisses louder, I swear we are in public.

"Guys.." I laughed and hide my face only to them holding my hands. 'I miss these brats.'

"Actually, we all miss you Shu. Look you have such cute cheeks." I can confirm it was Pomu who plays with my chibi cheeks.

"Guys. I swear to God. I saw Lu- Luigi in Mario Kart's plushie. It is so cute." I heard a loud ding from the entrance following Finana who just coming excitedly to us.

"Luigi? Yeah.. It is so cute." Pomu replied to her. I barely remember how Luigi in Mario Kart looks like now. Its been years since I looked at it.

<<Third POV>>
Everyone turned into silent when Finana almost messed up her words. Head shaking to remind her for not talking about Luca. Luckily Finana is smart, she takes a swift turn to lie.

In her arms, there is a bouquet of blue roses. Everyone eyes her, waiting for a good news. "Who gave you flowers?" Pomu intrigued, clearly surprised.

"How many of them?" Shu asked, hands in the air making a grabby gesture. The flowers smells so good making him want to touch it. He is certain that it is roses.

"Wait. I'll count." Claude takes the flowers from Finana's hands. He counts and the total surprises him. "99? Luca?" He mouthed the last word.

Finana nods and whispers back. "I met him outside. He wants me to give this to Shu."

"This crazy dude." Claude whispers back and put a finger to his lips, telling everyone to be silent.

"Finana's girlfriend. She gives it to her." Claude handing Shu the bouquet earning a slap from Finana. "We can't tell him about Luca."

Shu smells the flowers. Roses always his comfort flowers. Luca used to always give him flowers. Touching the soft petals while quietly counting the rose. "99? Isnt that mean she will loves you till she die? Thats so sweet of her. What's her name?" He dives back into the blue flowers.

"Er.. Rose.." She looks at her friends pointing to the flowers. "Rosemi." Finana finally give the answer with the helps of her friends.

"D-Do you mind if I hold it for a longer while?" Shu said, cheeks tinted with pink as embarrassment hits him.

"S-Sure." Finana said and quietly taking a picture to Luca, before she hits the button Claude clears his throat loudly.

"Oh.. let's eat now. We can't have Shu eating the flowers." Zali jokes waving for the waiter to come.

Soon a waiter come to their table. "May I take your order?"

"Yes. We would like to order two bowls of miso soup. Two sets of tonkatsu, five sets of dangos and five set of tokoyaki. For drink we would like to order three glasses of orange juice and two glasses of apple juice. For dessert we would like five regular bowls of vanilla ice cream." Zali reading the menu in a soft glance before giving back the menu.

Do you want an assist for your friend sir?" The waiter kindly asked while referring to Shu.

"No. Thanks." Claude gives a sharp glare to the waiter who cannot stop looking at how beautiful Shu is. He knows the waiter isn't wrong because his friend indeed a good looking person but not when his friend is married. "Married." He pulls Shu by the waist and put on a smug smile. He doesn't mind lying to protect his best friend.

The waiter nod and bows to leave. Shu is who still engrossed with the flowers, burying his face on the plants leaving his friends watching in awe.

"If you like it, you may have it." Finana said holding the urge to cry. She knows everything and she knows Shu doesn't know anything. "I don't know how to take care of flowers like you do."

"Is it really okay?" Shu mumbles on the blue petals.

"Yeah." Finana chokes on her word. It's painful to see two love souls cannot be together.

"How's he?" Shu said after a while. "Is Luca good?" He could feel his tears fall against his wills. "How many children do he has now?"

"One." Claude also almost choke on his word. "So handsome like his father." Zali rests his hand on Claude's shivering hand. He knows Claude isn't good in lying, moreover to his brother. "He is happy there. He hopes for your happiness too."

Shu breaks down into tears that he thought he didnt have it anymore. It has been eight years of doom. He always thought after these years of marrying Aia, he will forget about Luca. He can't forget the blonde, the ones who have his heart. At least after the latter gives him a proper reason why he gave up on him.

"I still love him. I still love Luca." Shu put his hands on his face as he quietly sobbing. He feel hands reaching out to him, he didnt know who but he is thankful for whoever it is. The person quietly comfort him, rubbing circles on his back to his liking. He mentally takes note to apologise later because he could feel his snorts getting on the person's shirt. He clings on the person's body until he is drowsy and falling asleep.
