The entire city was drenched in heavy rainfall. Children happily danced and played in the rain, while adults searched for shelter to avoid getting wet.

But amidst the crowd, Emily stood at the edge of the building's terrace. She did not attempt to find cover or join the others in their joyful activities.

She simply stood there, consumed by grief and despair. Tears streamed down her face as she struggled to contain her emotions. Eventually, her attempts failed and she let out a piercing scream, a flood of tears went down her cheeks. She swiped at her eyes to brush off her tears but the tears came anyway. She sobbed until her heart was out.

"Am I don't deserve to be happy? Why my life is so miserable? Why?... Why did he cheat on me? I always trust him. Do I not matter to him at all?... " she cried out.

Emily began to stomp her feet on the floor until she felt severe pain.

"My mom never loved me but when I found Jeremy in my life, I thought that now my all grief and pain would be gone forever from my life... But this was all my illusion,"

In her grief, Emily sat on the cliff, she began to pace back and forth. In her despair, she accidentally lost her balance and fell off the terrace. Miraculously, she managed to cling to the edge with her hands, desperately calling for help.

But her cries went unheard, drowned out by the heavy rain and the towering height of the 25-floor building. Emily struggled to hold on tightly amid the hazardous weather.

"Please, God, if this is my last day, grant me a second chance. In my next life, let me find true happiness. I beg of you..." she pleaded out loud.

Finally, her strength gave way and she fell. As she fell, flashes of both good and bad memories flooded her mind. And as her body collided with the ground, her skull shattered with a sickening crack sound.

Meanwhile, on the terrace, Emily's handbag lay open, exposing a fallen novel. Its title read, "A Silent Killer Of The Motel."
