Chapter 1

Today I did the usual thing get up dressed and have my breakfast I have to catch my flight in about two hours so my house is crazy at the moment I'm moving to Australia today to 'become a better person ' as my ma said which I think is just because she already slept with all the people here in Dublin,she thinks I get out of this place and forget everything which is obviously impossible to do when he's been in all my life until seven months ago when everything took a turn for the worse it's easy for her to forget about when she had a different man everyday even though she still had a husband waiting for her at home my dad was one of the most nicest people you could of ever met and helped me through thick and thin I don't no how my mother could do that to him he was was so gullible and believed in all of her excuses "I had to do an over shift " she had him wrapped around her finger all I want to do now is make my dad proud I've never been the same me since he passed away but my mam on the other hand doesn't seem to be grieving his loss she's probably happy that she doesn't have to make more excuses to him

"Chelseaaa" I heard my mam scream that snapped me out of my thoughts
"One second "I replied

I ran down the stairs with my two suitcases in each hand the rest of my stuff was being transported In the next few weeks to Australia

When I arrived to the airport I noticed that it was so big and everyone looked like the earth was about to end they where all panicking about missing their flight and then there's me on the Other hand so relaxed a bit too much my flight is in thirty minutes
Now I was feeling extremely nervous because this is my first ever flight and its Twelve hours long Ahhhh help mee

When I got in the plane every one was sitting in pairs I sat looked at my ticket and sat down a few minutes later a man sat Beside me he was tall with ripped black skinny jeans on and a flannel shirt his hair was quiffed he looked about thirty but hot he looked at me and smiled he had perfect straight teeth I felt my cheeks turn red
"Hii" he said
" hello " I replied
"My name is luke " he said
" I'm Chelsea " I replied
He kept smiling and looking at me
"What" I said while he laughed at me " why are you laughing are you laughing at me? " I said
"No" he said still smiling

I turned around and rested my head back on the cushion at the the top of my seat I then closed my eyes thinking about how life is going to change so much in Australia like the school and friends and everything else I heard my ma laughing which suddenly snapped me out of my thoughts but I remained sitting with my eyes closed
" I think she's asleep " luke said
I think we should tell her " my mam said
Wait what tell me what why is she even talking to him for she's like ten years older than him
" but what if she takes it Badly like we are on a plane " luke said
" we have to tell her sooner or later were getting off soon and she needs to know " I heard
my ma say
" tell me what why are you talking to him what's going on " I said looking at them both confusingly
my mam looked at luke for an answer and he looked back at her
" ehh me and luke are dating well we wore and then we stated a relationship that's when things got serious we got engaged " my ma said showing me her ring
I didn't no what to say I was speechless I taught they where just making friends or something but no they're engaged I looked at my ma in the she's and shook my head at her still not believing what she just said
" how long was are youse a thing? How ? What ? Why didn't you tell me ? " I said fastly
She looked at me and didn't say anything then looked back down to her hands
" about six months now " Luke said
I felt tears in my eyes I felt heartbroken and disgusted in my mam I never thaught she was actually going to start dating anyone at least not now I jumped out of my seat and wiped a tear that fell down my cheeks I felt Luke's hand grab my wrist and pulling me back
" where are you going " he said looking confused
" does it bother you where I'm going I only met you a few hours ago now let go of me now or I'm calling security "
" woah chill down come on we can talk this through you can talk to me " he said
" I said let go of me noww " I pull my wrist from his grip and ran towards the toilets
where I stayed in their for fifteen minutes thinking of the whole situation of luke and my mam there already engaged what if they get married that means no he'll be my stepfather no he can't no one will ever be like a father to me never
" hello can you please come out we are now landing and I would like to asks you to take your seat thank you " a women said
" i-I'll be out n-ow " I sniffle and stood up I walked over to my seat and sat down still wiping away the tears from my now puffy red cheeks with tear stains all over them
" are you alright " Luke said sounding concerned
I just looked at him and rolled my eyes
"Chelsea please don't take this then wrong way "
" Chelsea please talk to me don't make this harder baby " I heard my mam say
I just ignored her and luke

The plane landed I tried to reach my carry on luggage but I couldn't reach it luke took it down to me and handed it to me I snatched it out of his hand and Walked off we took a taxi home to our 'new house ' which was Luke's house
" your house is amazing " I heard my mam saying
" thanks" luke said pecking her lips I still didn't talk to either of them
" where my room " I did low and dragged out
"Your room is the first one straight up stairs I think " my mam said,
