Chapter 1. The Ballroom

Life, happens in the most unexpected yet beautiful ways, especially when it blesses you with things you weren't looking for but were actually needed !

Our story starts with Selena Smith waking upto a beautiful sunshine entering through her room's large glass windows caressing her face and whispering a ' Good Morning ' in her ears. A wide smile spreaded across her face, she stretched her arms sitting up, looked around grinning at the beautiful, shiny and calm morning. But this morning was peaceful until...

" Gooooooddd Morningggggg  ! " a scream pierced through her ears making her come out of her dreamland.

" Not again Elena ! " She banged her head with her hand and covered her ears protecting her ear-drums from rupturing by the loud thundering voice of her trouble-maker sister who was busy wishing a ' good morning ' to the whole city from Selena's window.

" You can wish the whole city from your room as well, you know, it has got windows too ", she crashed down on the bed again irritated, covering her face with the purple silk covered pillows. Huh ! Morning spoiled and how.

Elena came running to her sister, jumping right onto her and gave her a big hug more like crushed her in her arms, " Good morning dear sister " she said sweetly, " aaa.. yes my room has got windows too but I like your room and the view better, it's so peaceful " she exclaimed while Selena was still crushed in her arms ... annoyed.

Selena huffed, " Yes, it is, because I keep it calm and don't fill it with unnecessary noises like your voice. Now tell me what do you want from me ? What's making you this sweet so early in the morning ?" said Selena knowing exactly that this cute behaviour and hugs have got agendas behind them.

" What ? How rude ! Do you think of me to be this selfish that I can only be nice to you only at times of need ? I always am. ", she said getting up and crossing her arms around her chest with fake hurt expressions on her face.

She took a pause, looked at Selena with side eyes who was looking at her amusingly and said, " I only had a small request I knew my sister would never say a ' no ' to me ", showing her teeth fully, " Please don't say no. Please ! " made the best puppy face. Or she tried.

" See I know you too well sis " she gave her a tight smile lying on the bed with one hand ujder her head and the other on her stomach

" Okay fine, what is it ? ", she asked getting up from her bed, tying her long silky hair into a loose bun and walking to the washroom. Elena waited for her until she freshened up. Meanwhile, a message popped up on her phone's screen that said,
" Did you speak to her ? Did she agree ? Is she joining us ? "

" What's making you so impatient Ryan ? Just wait for a while, let me have a conversation with her. She cane home late from restaurant last night that's why I couldn't have a conversation with her ", she replied and put the phone in her pant's pocket.

After a while, Selena came out of the washroom and stood infront of her mirror. Brushed her silky dark brown hair cascading down her back like a waterfall. Elena came and stood beside her applying her moisturizer, while Selena threw her a glare. Er --- she always has to use my things !

" Actually, there's a ballroom invitation by the Evans, you know, rich people and their socializings go hand in hand. They've invited our family too along with other's. I know you are busy today but please join us. ", she batted her eyes at her with the most innocent expression decorated across her face.

As if Selena doesn't know her sister !

" And you really think I won't understand what you are trying to do ? Who is it this time ? Who is trying to get to me ? Tell me who's turn is it to get his jaws broken ? ", asked Selena crossing her arms around her chest and having frowns on her forehead.
