Plot-related smut ahead!
Only a month married. Yet it felt so much longer and shorter all at the same time. In that length of time, the young couple were constantly pulled in different directions for differing duties. Moana handled the heavy responsibilities, while Keoni learned to handle the lighter stuff, usually under Tui's watchful eye.
At the end of a very busy day, filled with responsibilities and socializing, they were exhausted. Keoni tired of the village easily and needed time to recharge with Moana.
A new fale was built for Tui and Sina, giving Moana and Keoni the privacy and the space they needed to grow as a couple as they settled into the largest building second to the community fale.
Night had fallen, with torches lit all around the village, and the soft chorus of nighttime insects and critters echoing through the dense jungle. It was a rather cool night, not as humid as previous evenings, but that was more than acceptable; the day had been sunny and hot, so a cool, breezy night was perfect.
Moana brought in the woven mats from outside and began to lay them out, along with their blankets. She also fetched a muscle-soothing salve for Keoni's shoulder, as he mentioned it was bothering him again.
Despite the struggle that had come with the lack of full use of his shoulder, Keoni tried to look on the humorous side, freaking village children out by popping his shoulder out of its socket.
All that considered, Keoni didn't let his new disability stop him. He still was able to do his usual, and Moana wasn't about to slow him down.
As the two settled in for the night, they had their respective chores to complete before going to bed. Moana brought in the mats and other blankets, and Keoni helped tidy up.
Once Keoni finished putting stuff away, he decided it was a good time to take a quick shower before bed. He hadn't realized Moana was watching him as he undid his belt and pulled his lavalava off, putting it in a pile to be washed later. It was then that he felt Moana's gaze on him.
"What?" She just shrugged nonchalantly with a tiny smile.
"Nothing! Do what you need to do. I'll be waiting here." She grinned.
Wordlessly, Keoni went to do his thing, ensuring he washed his hair thoroughly and cleaned his skin.
It was pretty quick, and he was done in no time. Taking a soft woven towel, he made it back into the fale, drying his hair. He did not care that he was naked, as he had grown accustomed to Moana seeing all of him.
His eyes still shut as he dried water off his face, he heard the sound of a sharp inhale. Blinking his eyes open, he saw how wide Moana's eyes were.
"Whew..." she breathed out. He softly snorted, rolling his eyes.
"What, like what you see?" He teased.
"Oh... very, very much so..." she affirmed, chewing her bottom lip seductively. He could see her chest heaving as she breathed in deeply.
"Mmm." She stood, making her way to him, stopping just inches away. She tenderly laid her hands on his chest, bringing them up to rest on his jaw. She gazed up at him, her gaze filled with nothing but pure love and admiration for him. Her thumbs gently grazed his cheekbones, and she slowly pulled him close to her, kissing him.
He hummed in response, closing his eyes as he savored her kiss. His hands resting on her waist, though they began to make their way up to her top, stopping at the string that secured it in place. It was like his subconscious knew exactly what it wanted, but did she?
Feeling his hands on her back, she pulled away, and initially, he thought she was going to say no, but instead, she reached her hands behind to make taking her top off easier. Pulling her in for a kiss once again, her body flush against him, he undid the little knot in the back, loosening her top. Grinning against the kiss, he pulled her top off, gently tossing it to the side.
