We had to take Eddie to his monthly check up. He would get his shots and his check up. Lol.
We walked in at doctors office, he was wrapped in his favorite blankie, sucking his pacifier, and he was carrying the stuffed monkey Jose gave him. I was carrying him, He was scared I could feel it. Luis had his bottle.
"Luis Eduardo Coronel?" The nurse asked.
We followed the lady to where she was gonna work with him.
"Hello, I'm Angela, first of all we're gonna weigh him and see how he's doing."
After a couple seconds she said he weighed 14 lbs whicch was good.
"Now we're gonna check his height"
The lady said.
"His height is 22 inches, now we're going to put his shots."
Luis sat him down on his legs.
The nurse put the shot in and Eddie was getting ready to cry and than they put another one. He started crying.
"Oh no!" The nurse cried with him,
"It's okay baby, it'll go away soon."
Luis tried putting the pacifier back in his mouth but he would spit it back. He was crying and Luis tried calming him down with everything but nothing worked. I took him from Luis's arms and he started calming down a bit, I put the pacifier in his mouth and kissed his cheek.
"Awww He's a momma's boy" the nurse laughed.
"Actually he's a little bit of both" I laugh.
"Ohh mommy's and daddy's boy!" She laughs.
"Okay, so he's gonna start wanting to walk anytime, so I would babyproof the house if I were you, umm... he's gonna start saying simple words soon and you can start giving him baby food."
"Okay thanks! Umm, what about breast feeding?" I say.
"No problem, and I mean if you're comfortable with it and you still have milk, feel free to give him that kind of milk your choice"
"Okay thanks." I wrapped Eddie in his blanket, he looked tired, so Luis took him and I took his stuffed monkey and his bottle.
