Jungkook paces the hallway of the small clinic, concern etched into every nerve in his body. His anxiety seems to skyrocket as minutes turn into hours and Y/n is still being examined by the village doctor.
Jimin and Taehyung do their best to calm him down, to ease his worries even though they are also worried sick. But nothing seems to settle the youngest. His heart is tied to his wife, and if anything goes wrong, he won't know what to do with himself.
After almost two hours pass, the doctor finally opens the door and approaches the three brothers.
They wait with bated breaths as the woman comes to a stop in front of them. "She's alright now."
One word and the life comes rushing back into Jungkook's body.
"What happened?" Jimin is only able to ask after sighing in relief.
"It was just a false alarm. Sometimes, irregular contractions happen. They come off as true labor. But she's not there yet."
"False alarm?" Jungkook frowns. "She is in so much pain."
The elder woman nods. "It happens. Occasional walks and resting will help with the pain. I've given her medication already. Make sure she takes them every day."
Taehyung moves his gaze towards the clear glass looking into the doctor's room and stares at Y/n's bowed form as she clutches her stomach, no doubt still in pain. "What do we do now?"
"Take her home. I can't help you much here. Make sure she takes the medicines on an empty stomach and rests a lot. She will be back to normal in a few hours."
"In a few hours.." Jungkook mumbles and he can't wretch his gaze away from his wife even if he wants to. He can't take her pain for a second. How will he watch her go through it for hours?
The doctor nods, understanding. "Her case is a bit risky because of the baby's position. Normal birthing will be hard for her, but it's the only option we have here. You can get easy surgery in the city if you want. It's up to you to decide when the time comes." She says, staring at the three of them. "But I will remind you that your mother chose to give birth to you boys at home. Y/n can do it too. She just needs a little support from you three. Take care of her."
The woman walks away after petting Jungkook's back, leaving them to stare helplessly at the lady of their house withering in pain.

Jinhee smiles as she stares down at the small leaves sprouting from the ground all over the fertilized land. It has been a few months since they started working in this land for the challenge, and all the handwork the farmers has done has paid off.
The ground is starting to grow again. And they already have leaves coming out of the soil. Jinhee honestly never thought that out of everything, this is what she will find healing.
