As he sat down in the conference hall the projector turned on and the presentation started. Laila was focusing on her work that she literally snapped out every clients infront of her
Her eyes were powerful making anyone to gaze upon her for years. She looked at each and everyone with confidance and stared right into everyone that neither of them looked away from her for the one hour
But a pair of eyes were missing, it was wandering over someone. Laila tried hard to get her attention. She was determined, she wanted everyone to see her work, her hardwork of past 6 months. Despite how hard she tried her eyes weren't meeting her as it was staring straight at the moss Mr Kim. Neither he diverted his head nor his eyes on her, but she never looked away likewise she's gonna eat him alive
"That's all about my presentation Thankyou" Laila said
A round applause was heard and everyone stood up congratulating her
"I'm impressed at your work Miss, let's sign the deal" Mr. Classen said
Laila not believing her ears that she made it!!
Mr Classen and Mr Kim signed the document and Laila was head over heels
Before they were leaving Hesa came to Mr Kim and stretched her hands for a handshake
He accepted it and she hugged him, he stood a bit froze for a second as a corner of his eye was on someone else
Not to make it awkward, he pulled off, making it a casual hug
Everyone came to Laila and appreciated her while Hesa continued talking to him
She was giggling and tryna act cute around him but little did she know a pair of eyes were glaring at her
Everyone walked them to the elevator and Laila followed them
Mr Kim shaked his hands with Mr Classen and the door closed.
Laila was up for all appreciations but didn't get the one she craved for! He didn't appreciate her!!!
The next elevator door opens and Heda stepped in and bid bye to everyone, especially to him
Just about when the door was about to close, she quickly pecked his lips and tucked her card in his blazer's pocket with a wink and giggled!! The door closed
She stood there, heated out of pain, anger, disappointed!!! Whatever she achieved today just vapoured off like nothing
Her eyes started to tear up and she quickly excused herself to the washroom!
She hit fist into the washroom mirror in anger and shouted out , cursing over him!!
She looked herself at the mirror, laughing like a maniac "I'll ruin you Slut"
Just then the door started being knocked and when she opened it, there stood an employee "Mr Kim asked you to return the file he gave him yesterday"
Her blood boiled when she heard that name!!
But she smiled, thinking about what's gonna happen next
She smiled at her and walked towards her cabin, taking a random file in her hands
She walked towards his office, softly knocked it
"Come in" a deep sound was heard
She opend the door and saw him sitting on his table waiting for her
See Laila it's not what you think. She was just being naive and doing things to me that I froze and I just couldn't react at that moment" he said walking towards her
