YOUR POV"Mom." I yelled out, still holding onto my laptop screen frame tightly, essentially crushing it if I applied any more force. "Mom!" I yelled louder, earning a 'yes?' back from her downstairs. I picked up my device, swinging open my bedroom door and rushing down the stairs, the steps making noises as I stormed on each of its planks.
"Don't rush, Y/n/n (your nickname)! What's so important that you have to—"
"My agent emailed us." I interrupted, my mother's brows raising in curiosity.
"Go on." She urged, turning off her program to revert her attention to me.
"Shawn Levy contacted her; they're making another Framework movie!" I squealed, rushing to plop onto the space beside her next to the sofa, handing her the laptop to read the email. My mother took her reading glasses from the coffee table, scanning the text on the screen, her eyes lighting up.
"Oh, that's amazing," she smiled, looking back at me with beautiful eye lines from how hard she was smiling, "has Walker told you anything yet?" She questioned, remembering Walker was also a part of the project. I shook my head, not having thought of that. "Well, you should probably go call him,"
"Right, I should go do that." I stood up from my seat and was about to head upstairs before I heard my mother call out my name once more.
"Melissa sent me the script PDF... but she says Walker isn't going to be in it." She said, bringing the screen closer, checking if she'd read it right. I turned around with a perplexed expression, walking back and peering down at the laptop screen.
"What?" I murmured to myself. "He declined the role...? But—" I stuttered, my mother handing me the device for me to skim through the new email my agent had sent me only seconds ago.
'Walker will not be participating in the sequel, as casting directors have reached out, but he has declined the offer due to filming schedules for Percy Jackson.'
The section of the email read. How unbelievable.
"Yeah, I'm definitely giving him a call." I stormed up the stairs, leaving my laptop with my mother. I opened my door, careful not to slam it despite the urge to do so. Picking up the phone, I scrolled through my contacts and clicked on 'Walkie Talkie', his caller ID flashing on the screen before I brought it next to my ear.
"Hey Y/n, what's up?" Walker said in a cheerful and oblivious tone.
"Why'd you decline the role?" I immediately questioned, heading straight to the point.
"No 'hi' or anything? What are you talking about?" He questioned, equally as confused.
"The role of Liam Oswald, there'll be a sequel — my agent said you declined the role and now I have to film the movie with some other guy!" I said in a much more angry tone.
"Wh— What? There's a sequel?"
"Yes, Walk, there's a sequel. And you declined the role because of some 'filming conflict' with Percy Jackson." I raised my voice, beginning to pace around the room.
"We don't start filming season 2 until late this year, what 'filming conflict' will there be? I don't even know about the sequel, baby."
"Then why'd Shawn Levy himself say that you declined it?"
"I don't know, but I'll figure it out, okay? Please, I really do want to film with you again. I had no idea about this. I'll call you back, okay?" I sighed at his words, muttering out a tiny 'okay'.
"Be right back, Y/n/n." He said, hanging up the phone.

HIS POV"Dad!" I yelled from my room, heading out of my door and peering over the railing that had a clear view of downstairs.
"Yeah?" He yelled back, looking up from the kitchen island.
"Did I get an email from my agent about a new Framework movie?" I questioned, starting to raise my voice. "Do not lie to me." I added once I saw his guilty expression he wore whenever he knew he'd done something wrong.
"Look, Walker." He began, already adding fuel to the fire. "I know you're busy with the Percy Jackson series, and I just thought you don't need to play in that movie anymore. Plus, Shawn added in his email that he had an alternate script if you weren't available. It's for the best."
"For the best? For the best?!" I repeated, not believing those words had come out of his mouth. "I don't mind filming it at all! Why didn't you tell me about it first? I'm the one acting afterall."
"I discussed it with your mother, she agreed with me."
"But you didn't discuss it with me."
"Look, son. There's no reason for you to act in the movie — sequels barely get popular, plus, like I said, Shawn had given you an option."
"And yet I didn't get to choose!" I shouted, my anger showing through my face and voice. I shook my head — there was one way I may be able to win this. "Dad... Y/n and I are dating, okay? That's why I want this role. I want it. I will not rest until I get that role."
