Brother Koah

As my paws pond ageist the forest floor

I feel free, free just to exist and run with my family

My brother Koah runs beside me panting as his paws pond ageist the forest floor

soon he will leave to make his own family and soon I

but now i am in this moment with my brother

As the night approaches, mom calls out for us to return

we answer our call reaching miles and make our way home

through the coldest nights and months we huddle together for warmth until e are no longer welcome home and leave in scratch of a mate

soon I will leave to find a mate

but tonight i will huddle up with my family and watching the Arora dance with the stars and the moon lit stars

I still think of my family even in this life after I lived as a wolf. I still remember a lot.
This poem was inspired by a few memories I have of my siblings mostly my sister in my past life and family the name Koah was a name that just came to me as I wrought this.
