The Ways Of The Elements

Goodbye!

Waking up in the morning, everything came rushing back to me. Urrghh!
I won't let you ruin my day, and so I got up and did my morning routine, ate my food and went to the village main hall. You see, today is a special day. We will all be sent into different school were we can go and learn our elements.
Upon entering the main hall all chatter stopped, and all eyes were on me. Is it not the girl with the useless powers? What's your name again. Rana or was is Tana or Mana? The fire girl from yesterday mocked. Well its Rana you dimwit. I replied dismissively. Who are you calling a dimwit, I'll show you who is a dimwit.
Before I know a small fire ball came flying at me, all on instinct I raise my hand and a portal appeared and swallow the fire and reopened on top of her head and it landed on her and she screamed. Hot hot hot.
Hmmm I see you've got a trick of your own huh? Well take this! as she was about to throw more fire ball, a voice boomed' enough!
You can go and fight after you have been taken to your difficult school on the ceremonial contest. The Enchantress said rather boringly. Contest? Hmm I need to practice more so I can take her on.
You were amazing! How did you do that Tasha exclaimed, about the small fight that just happened. Well I kinda acted on instinct.
Every body was appointed to their respective schools and i was told I would attend a school named Elemental ferrets. Sounds great to me.
Later that day we did our packings I and Tasha and we brought our bags waiting for the village truck to come pick us. I will miss you girls Tanya, Tasha's mother cried. Mama its not like we are going to stay there forever we will surely come for spring break, Tasha reasoned.
My dear Rana,Tasha's father called me, we are very proud of you no matter the type of element that choose you. All we want from you girls is to go and make a name for yourself. He then hugged us and just as he was finished the truck came and we went in saying our goodbyes to our parents and then off we go.
