Y/N's family lets a group of boys into her home without thinking of all the consequences that lie ahead. Can these boys deal with her coldness from past trauma or can they warm the frozen block she calls her heart?
It was just another boring Friday night for Y/N and her family. Her parents sat in the living room watching their favorite show, and Y/N was upstairs jamming out to music and working on her art on her computer. Y/N did not have many hobbies outside of work that helped pass the time besides working out and drawing in her room. She stays mostly to herself due to past traumatic events from her ex-boyfriend and always stays indoors if she can. People view her as hard-working and quiet, but she works hard to distract herself from the negative thoughts around her brain. The quitting part is due to the anxiety she gained from always being judged by the natural loudness of her voice, so she decided it was best to speak when spoken to or if she had to ask questions to her coworkers about company projects. So, drawing in her room and blasting music to block out outside noises was her way to start the weekend off right.
Y/N POV:
"Y/N!" Your mom yelled, breaking your focus away from your art project. "What do you need, mom?" You heard no response for a couple of minutes and then heard light footsteps coming up, so you decided to go ahead and open the door so your mom could come in. Your mom finally made her way up the steps and told you she had made dinner. You quickly hurried downstairs because you were starving. The only thing you lived off of was nicotine and coffee. Once you started working on something, your appetite was nonexistent. You sat between your brother and your dad, ready to dig into the feast before you, but nobody was moving toward the food. You looked at your mom and noticed she wanted to say something, but you couldn't tell if it was bad or good. "Mom, do you want me to tell her, or do you want to?" your brother asked, breaking the silence. "What is going on here? Did somebody hide a dead body I need to know about, Channie?" you asked your brother with confusion written all over your face.
"Soooooo, I know you just moved back in due to you know who, but I wanted to let you know that I'm going to have one of my friends staying here until he finds a house. Mom and Dad allowed it since it would be temporary. Still, I just wanted to give you a.." your brother's words got cut off by three loud thuds from the front door. "is that him?" you asked, trying to hold back your anger. Everybody nodded, and you swiftly got up and went to the front door to interrogate your brother's friend. Changbin ran to the front door, spreading his arms across as if that would stop you from trying to open the door. " Y/N, if you're going to open the door, please be nice; he just moved back from Australia." You just smirked and pushed your brother out of the way and swung the door open, to be surprised by a tall blond-haired boy smiling at you.

" Hi, I'm Bangchan. Is this Changbin house?'' you rolled your eyes at how smiley this guy was. How could someone be so happy and innocent in life, you thought to yourself. It pissed you off because you never had a time in your adult life where you were truly happy with the way this man in front of you presented. " No Changbin here, sorry sir," you said and tried to close the door when your brother ran in between the crack of the door and doorframe, stopping it from closing completely. "hahaha, she kidding Bangchan, this is my sister Y/N, she doesn't like people, and like a dog, she bites," Changbin said while grabbing Bangchan's bags and inviting him in.
"OK, I will introduce everybody. You have already met the dark and heartless Y/N. Bangchan, this is my mom, and this is my dad," Changbin declared, moving back to let his friend properly introduce himself to your parents. Your dad grabbed Bangchan's bags and ushered him to do a house tour," your room will be up there next to Y/N's; the kitchen is over there. Help yourself with anything. The bathrooms are here, and one is upstairs. Oh, you must be hungry; go ahead and sit with us to eat and then get some rest." Bangchan nodded and sat down to eat, but you were not ready to deal with the stranger who entered your home. You went to the pantry, grabbed some instant ramen, cooked it, and went upstairs to eat peacefully.
Once you got to your room, you ate your 5-star Michelin meal and watched some K-dramas to relax your mind. Your eyes started to feel heavy, and you began to fall into a deep sleep until it was interrupted by a banging coming from your closed door. "ugh, I swear to God, Changbin, I was just about to fall asleep.", you yelled, pissed at who you thought was your brother. You move to the door and swing it open to face the stranger you let into the home hours ago. "What do you want, dude?" you asked while rolling your eyes at Bangchan. " Where are your towels? I was going to ask Changbin, but he is already asleep, and I heard your T.V. still on, so I figured you were awake.", Bangchan stated while giving you a smirk. It was like he knew that he had interrupted your sleep but gave not one fuck about it. "ugh, follow me," you started to walk down the hall between the bathroom and Changbin's room and opened the cupboard, showing all the bathroom supplies to this idiot. If only he had just looked here, to begin with, you would have been able to enjoy the rest of your night without seeing his face again. "OK, thank you, Y/N. I'm gonna take a shower now", he stated while moving his way into the shower. "Enjoy your shower then," you said sarcastically, quickly turning back to your room's direction until you felt a snag at your sweater. "I swear this boy better not be touching me already! He is not going to complete the day with all his fingers at this rat!" you said as you turned around and gave him Y/N's famous death stare. " What do you want now?" Bangchan still held onto your sweater and had that stupid smirk that probably worked with other girls but not you. "Unless you want to join too, Y/N?" he said. You smacked his hand off your shirt, threw up a middle finger, and ran back to your room, disgusted.
Bangchan's POV:
Ouch, you thought to yourself as Y/N slapped your hand off her sweater. Man, Channie was right about her. She is so cold and can't even take a joke, but she looked cute in that oversized sweater. I'll find a way to break through this stone-cold wall she calls her heart. Before I could go to the bathroom, I heard a loud slam coming from her direction. "Man, she really is pissy and feisty. This is going to be fun living here for a while", I thought before showering.
Y/N POV
You slammed the door to your room, closing off negative energy. Sitting at your desk, you popped your headphones on and pressed play on your work playlist, blocking out all outside noise. You just wanted to erase the event that just happened from your brain, and what better way to do so than by jamming to music and working on your art? "Gosh, he really isn't as innocent as he looked when I first met him. He is just another fuck boy. No wonder he and my brother get along so well. ", you thought while drawing. Before you knew it, you had fallen into deep on your keyboard.
