Lyric stood before Hades, it had been a few hours since Percy had left and he'd suddenly called her to talk.

"My brother, Zeus has requested your presence which I heavily argued against but, apparently its urgent" He said before Lyric could say a thing. What did the king of the gods want with here? She didn't know as he had mentioned his distaste for her having Hades as a brother a a few times but what she did know was that she didn't quite like the sound of urgent.

"You have one hour"

Hades snapped his fingers, Lyric felt her self consumed into shadows. Hades eyes widened as she disappeared he looked around and let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness no one had seen, running a hand through his freshly cut hair he muttered to himself in Greek, "it's too soon, too soon"

Lyric felt the familiar cold shadows, when she opened her eyes she was in front of Zeus and Poseidon next to Percy who immediately hugged her surprising her but she hugged back nevertheless.

Zeus and his brother both looked at each other with small barely noticeable smiles then cleared their throat making the two friends (suree) jump apart their faces slightly pink. Aphrodite gestured to Lyric she took a few steps only for Zeus to point to his throne. Aphrodite rolled her eyes at him and waved at Lyric as she moved to Zeus' side.

The gods weren't moving or speaking, but there was tension in the air, as if they'd just finished an argument. Percy approached the fisherman's throne and knelt at his feet. "Father."

To Percy's left, Zeus spoke. "Should you not address the master of this house first, boy?"

"Peace, brother," Poseidon finally said. "The boy defers to his father. This is only right."

"You still claim him then?" Zeus asked, scathingly glaring at his older brother who turned to face Dionysus and roll his eyes "You claim this child whom you sired against our sacred oath?"

"I have admitted my wrongdoing," Poseidon said. "Now I would hear him speak."

Wrongdoing.

A lump welled up in Percy's throat. Lyric sent him a comforting smile and waved, he waved back. "I have spared him once already," Zeus grumbled immediately ruining the mood Lyric was sooo tempted to yawn but seeing she was right next to the king of the gods she decided otherwise wouldn't want to be blasted to mars now would she?

"Daring to fly through my domain . . . pah!" Zeus went on, Lyric managed a tiny yawn which gave her glares from him " I should have blasted him out of the sky for his impudence."

"And risk destroying your own master bolt?" Poseidon asked calmly. "Let us hear him out, brother."

Zeus grumbled some more. "I shall listen," he decided. "Then I shall make up my mind whether or not to cast this boy down from Olympus."

"Perseus," Poseidon said. "Look at me. Address Lord Zeus, boy," Poseidon told his son. "Tell him your story."

So after a long ass explanation, Lyric adding a few things here and there Percy took out the metal p̶r̶e̶t̶t̶y̶ ̶l̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶e̶w̶o̶r̶k̶ cylinder, which began sparking in the Sky God's presence, and laid it at his feet.

Zeus opened his palm. The lightning bolt flew into it. As he closed his fist, the metallic points flared with electricity, until he was holding what looked more like the classic thunderbolt, a twenty-foot javelin of arcing, hissing energy.

Lyric rolled her eyes muttering under her breath, "drama queen"

"I sense the boy tells the truth," Zeus muttered. "But that Ares would do such a thing . . . it is most unlike him."

"He is proud and impulsive," Poseidon said. "It runs in the family." Lyric snickered, Poseidon sent her a tiny wink Zeus gave Poseidon an unimpressed look.

"Lord?" Percy asked.

They both said, "Yes?"

"Ares didn't act alone. Someone else—something else— came up with the idea."

"In the dreams," The son of Poseidon said, "the voice told me to bring the bolt to the Underworld. Ares hinted that he'd been having dreams, too. I think he was being used, just as I was, to start a war."

"You are accusing Hades, after all?" Zeus asked.

"NO he isn't" Lyric immediately said, Zeus regarded her his stormy eyes looking into hers she stared back bravely, after a while he grumbled looking away and she smirked.

One point to Lyric

Percy continued "I mean, Lord Zeus, I've been in the presence of Hades. This feeling on the beach was different. It was the same thing I felt when I got close to that pit. That was the entrance to Tartarus, wasn't it? Something powerful and evil is stirring down there . . . something even older than the gods."

Poseidon and Zeus looked at each other. They had a quick, intense discussion in Ancient Greek. Poseidon made some kind of suggestion, but Zeus cut him off. Poseidon tried to argue. Zeus held up his hand angrily.

"We will speak of this no more," Zeus said. "I must go personally to purify this thunderbolt in the waters of Lemnos, to remove the human taint from its metal."

Lyric scoffed.

He rose and looked at Percy. His expression softened just a fraction of a degree. "You have done me a service, boy. Few heroes could have accomplished as much."

"I had help, sir," Percy began. " Lyric here, Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase—"

"To show you my thanks, I shall spare your life. I do not trust you, Perseus Jackson. I do not like what your arrival means for the future of Olympus. But for the sake of peace in the family, I shall let you live."

"Um . . . thank you, sir."

"Do not presume to fly again. Do not let me find you here when I return. Otherwise you shall taste this bolt. And it shall be your last sensation."

"As for you Lyric Devonne, find me I need to speak with you"

Thunder shook the palace. With a blinding flash of lightning, Zeus was gone. taking the other gods with them except for the god of the sea

Lyric rolled her eyes, "the level of disrespect and what does he mean by find him? How do you even find god?!"

"Try sniffing him out" Poseidon innocently suggested, Lyric snorted then ran to Percy hugging him again, nearly knocking him down.

"Don't get yourself killed okay? See you at camp" she then ran off yelling, "ZEUS READY OR NOT HERE I COME!!!"

Then she ran behind a column, Poseidon smiled. "She's interesting, are you two dating?"

Percy groaned, "not this again"
