I drive off and roll up my window. Why did she do that? She knew I wanted to make breakfast with her. Whatever I can't think about that right now. I have to focus on my work to become the principal. I have so much training to do in such little time.
I make it to school with twenty minutes to spare. I sit in my car and rest my head against the steering wheel, letting out a sigh. I jump out of my skin when someone knocks on my window. I look out and it's Mr. Jacklyn the principal. I roll down my window and give him a small smile.
"Are you okay, Charlotte?" He asks leaning on my door.
"Yes, just a little stressed but I'm fine" I answer giving a fake smile. I wish he would get off my car I just got it polished not too long ago.
"Well, I wouldn't stress out too much. I know you will do great and all of the kids love you" I nod my head and take a big breath in, nodding my head.
"I know but I have so much training to get done," I say looking out of my windshield to the school in front of me.
"That's what I 2wanted to talk to you about, you will have an extended training period due to me leaving earlier." He explains and I furrow my brows.
"leaving early?" I ask freaking out on the inside, and he nods his head.
"Yep, I leave on Wednesday, but you will be okay because they are also lessening your training, so you won't have to do much. It's all really simple to get a hold of and to learn, and you are really smart so I doubt you will have a problem with anything" I nod my head processing what he just told me.
I run my hand through my hair puffing air into my cheeks and letting it go. "Okay, how much training do I have to do?"
"You only have four courses to do, but all four of them have several tests and problem things for you to solve" I nod my head taking in the information.
At least I won't have to do a whole lot, but I still don't have much time to do it. "Okay, thank you" I sigh as he nods walking away. I get out of my car and go to my classroom. Once I get there I keep busy by organizing things and putting stuff back where they belong until it's time for students to come in.
The first bell rings and I sit down logging onto the computer. I look at my emails and see I have 2 online courses to do. I sigh in relief and exit out. I'm going to do those on my break and at home.
The students enter and I shut the door behind the last one. I stand in front of my podium "Okay class, today we will be reading pages 42 through 48 of interpersonal relationships. When you finish I have a worksheet up here for you to fill out. The students groan and I roll my eyes. "would you like more work?" They all shake their heads and there are a few 'no's'. I nod and sit back down.
I hear whispers from some of the students which I'd fine I normally let them, but they are getting louder by the second. "Keep your voices down, please" They quiet down, but after a few more minutes they get louder again, so I look up at the students and a few of them are throwing paper balls. I stand up, walking in between the students throwing paper balls and once they look at me I pout to the front row of seats telling them to move up there.
"If you can't learn to listen then you will sit by me," I say in a demanding voice. The two students move up and I look around the whole class. "If anybody else decides to act up you're getting detention" The whole class becomes quiet, and I sit down.
